At this point, I would seriously like to see what Rudolph can do. His playstyle would at least shake things up and force an opposing defense to reconsider their strategy. Say what you will about Mason, but he's objectively better at throwing the ball than Kenny and can toss it a hell of a lot deper. He also has a winning record with the Steelers, which Trubisky doesn't. I know Tomlin won't ever give the ball to Mason for some reason, but I'd still love to see it. I mean, the big knock on Mason is that he can't move around fast enough, but Pickett hasn't exactly proven that he can do much better.

I'd bench Pickett for the season. He's toast. Let Trubisky play to determine whether or not we cut his @$$ in the offseason. We simply cannot go into 2024 with Kenny as the starting QB

I would be fine with starting Rudolph. A change at QB really needs to be made. Neither Mitch nor Mason would be doing worse right now.

I don’t think we get swept by the Bengals anymore so 10-7 is a definite possibility just based on some horrible teams we will play.

He acknowledged it in his presser this week. He flat out said we need more from him. Bigk’ s response was to give the team less

The Bengals backup is better than Pickett.

It’s a combination of everything. Pickett is the best QB on the roster so there isn’t anything they can do there this year.

It’s a recipe of bad from every end. Bad head coach, bad O coach, bad QB. All that bad makes the offensive line average and the running back get smacked the moment he gets the ball.

I legitimately think the Steelers' extraordinary (but unsustainable) degree luck has finally run dry for this season...as such, I think we're very realistically eyeing Tomlin's first losing season.

(Not gonna lie - on some level, I'd love to see it. Anything that decreases the odds of Tomlin getting a contract extension is a huge plus, imo.)

Kenny was terrible, but I agree, Canada has to go tomorrow. His play calling was the worst. That last series was just the icing on the cake throwing three times. In a previous series, he went empty backfield on 2nd down when Warren was gashing them. Even if you are going to throw, why would you let the defense know that? Again, Kenny is terrible, but I want to see him operate with an NFL level coordinator before I write the obit.

I really thought that at the beginning of the season that Pickett was the best quarterback on the roster. After ten games, I don’t think he is any longer and he’s getting steadily worse as the season progresses.

So he said in a presser he needs to give us more and then they what? Allowed him to play? Changed things up? Practiced with a plan? Or simply paid lip service to the obvious.

Mitch and Rudolph are at the very least the same. I just don't see how it can help either way.

Kenny hasn’t shown us anything to make us believe that he can be successful with any NFL offensive coordinator. A competent coordinator may be able to turn him into a decent game manager and backup, but that’s it.

This team isn't gonna do anything if they make the playoffs .....at this point I wouldn't be mad if we lost every game from here on out.. At least we would have better draft position..

Rudolph used to throw a TD pass or two a game. Remember that? That was nice.

10 wins may be a stretch with a healthy Kyler Murray for the cardinals. And Gardner Minshew is no star but he can shred a zone at least as well as Jordan Love or this clown today. We may struggle to get to 9

There is absolutely no reason for benching Pickett unless you just mean for a game but for the season it doesn’t make sense. Are Mitch or Rudolph going to lead them to a SB? Because thats what you’d be hoping for, it sure as hell isn’t to see if they can succeed Ben.

So ride with Pickett and stop babying him and use the rest of the season to see if it makes a difference and if it doesn’t then start shopping again.
