In Defense of Matt Canada...

I think fans and NFL analyst are too harsh on Matt Canada. In his defense he wasn't into sports growing up. I understand he was really into showtunes. C'mon Matt, show 'em what you can do.... 5...6... 7... 8....

(Not that there is anything wrong with that!)

It's not Canada's fault. He's doing the best he can. I'm sure being in the NFL is his ultimate dream, not to mention loads of money. Any of us would have taken the job, too. The fault is in the pathetic owner who allows this to happen.

 

In defense of Canada... It's hard to move the ball and score points when you are handicapped with the worst QB to take the field on any given Sunday. Kenny sucks @$$

 

He was terrible again, but so was Canada. He kept trying screens even though the Browns were all over them all game long. He also didn't give Warren the ball nearly enough after that long touchdown.

I'm not sure who is driving the personnel decisions there. Warren is arguably the best player on our entire offense and we only give him the ball 8-11 times. He should be the starter and he should be getting 15-20 touches a game. There is no reason not to.

I'm in the camp that both Canada and Pickett need to go, but if I HAD to have one I'd take Canada right now.

 

I can’t believe he doesn’t work at Walmart. This guy should be gathering buggies on Sundays! He and KP should probably car pool together there.

 

Pittsburgh is not an Ethel Merman kind of town.

 

Buffalo’s offense was at or near the top in most offensive categories this season and they fire their OC, Ken Dorsey.

Pittsburgh’s offense has been at or near the bottom in most offensive categories FOR THE LAST THREE YEARS and Matt Canada still has a job.

Unbelievable! And we wonder why we’ve been muddled in the mire of mediocrity fir the last decade plus.
