Thats convenient for him. Nothing to gain, so fake an injury so he can get a contract and be healthy.

What an appropriate end to his Steelers career.

Who cares anymore, this guy hasn't shown up all year so this is no surprise. I am just glad this season is over after tomorrow.

After the season he has had, what kind of contract is this going to get him?

Probably a big one. Has he earned it? No, but someone will over pay for him.

Like all of the teams that were beating his door down before he signed his tender offer? He isn't going to get an offer like the one he was looking for and I doubt anyone will be willing to pay him $50MM like the Steelers offered. He simply hasn't shown that kind of value.

One big difference...If other team signed him to that tender offer.. they gave up a #1 draft pick also. Not the case anymore.

Yep, he's not going to sniff that type of money, unless Jones or Snyder step in and overspend.

    Yep, that's a huge difference.

I hope you're right Scott and he doesn't get a big pay day, but we've seen teams over reach before. He shouldn't get 50M or more, but he still might despite his play this season.

That place who made that sandwich and named it after Big Ben should do a Mike Wallace sandwich put a slice of bologna on two pieces of stale bread and charge 55million for it.

As durable as Wallace has been, he has started in 16 games 3 years in a row, and has started in 15 games this year, he is injured so I can give him a bye in this meaningless game, he still led all receivers in the stat column this year, I understand all the hate talk thats been directed towards him this year over his contract hold out, but give him credit for what he has accomplished, could he have done more, most likely he would have had a better season if he had went about the negotiation process in a different direction, but being young and going into his first contract year, maybe his agents advice sent him in the wrong direction, now it's up to the steelers to decide if he fits into this teams future.....
