Except for the interceptions, which cost them the game

Mark fat Madden just said he wanted Rudolph to start.
I don't know how that goof still has a job. Rudolph , a guy nobody wanted this offseason. ?
People are soo jealous of that 6-3.

The first interception was a great defensive play by the steelers....The second one,it was the last play of the game,so Love had no choice but to force things. It was TD or bust

Hard to call it a great game when it was a bust.

But, when it mattered, they were both busts, throwing interceptions. Kenny didn’t do that.

Would your opinion have changed if it would have just been an incomplete pass, which at the end, would have been the same for their team?

Yes. It’s a team game. It’s also a 60 minute game. Both those guys lost the game for their teams in the last minute.

    False.

DJ constantly open mainly because he is a great route runner.

In contrast, Pickens is a horrendous route runner.

Is the reason Kenny does not see an open man in the midddle of the field because knows knows canada never sends a play that has the middle open? So why look ? Let Kenny call the plays and we will know for sure if he is good or not. Yes he is not mature yet but A 5yr. old could call better plays than matt or mikey.

I swear the Steelers could put a run together and start exploding on offense, defense and ST’s then trounce every opponent throughout the playoffs and win a lopsided SB and he would still whine, cry and bicker all off season about how they sucked through the first 9 games and shouldn’t have even been in the playoffs in the first place. I hate listening to that clown about Steelers football. Wish he would just come out and admit he’s a Cheatriots fan.

You should've been told to settle down if "several" of his games got you excited. :lolol: I'm just curious which ones they may have been.

Has he played one truly 'good' game this season? Maybe the Raiders game where he chucked up a 72 yard TD to Austin, then went 15/27(55%) for 162 yards for the rest of the game? Maybe I'll let you have that one.

We'll have to go back to last year to find another game that anybody could POSSIBLY use as an excuse to "crown him".

The 7 games after the bye week last year were all anybody wanted to talk about . Let's look at those games. Not counting weeks 14-15 due to injury.

    In those 7 games he had a 59% Cmp/1,442 yds(206 ypg)/ 5 TD's/1 INT/ 84 QBR. You can't get much more pedestrian than that.

So, he made a couple good throws at the end of a few games. So what?! He's a professional! He should be EXPECTED to make a few decent throws here and there. Raise your standards please!

He's a starting NFL QB! And not due to catastrophe. He's THE guy. A 1st rd pick. He's not Aidan O'Connell, a 3rd string, late rd rookie. Who's team is so bad that they fired their head coach after 8 games. In fact he's won two of his 3 starts and had games very similar to our golden boy, who's halfway through his second year, with and offense that was SPECIFICALLY taylored for him.

(I know you didn't say this but it's in this thread)I also love the 'fact' that only Jalen Hurts, Patrick Mahomes, Jared Goff and Lamar Jackson have more wins this season. And?! So, Pickett is the 5th best QB in the league?! And if that's not the implication, then what's the point in bringing up? Clearly he's in the bottom 5. Not top 5.

What's my point here? I'm pissed off cause I'm gonna have to watch my team struggle, and scratch and claw their way to many more mediocre seasons, cause unfortunately we needed to draft a QB from the worst draft class anyone has ever seen. But, insteading of waiting to take ham & egg QB's in the ham & egg rounds(LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE DID!), we sealed our fate by taking one of those QB's in the 1st rd. Only the 4th first rounder in 50 years. Two of the four are HOF.

Which means they're never gonna give up on this guy until fans storm the field with torches. It's really not something that I'm looking forward to. You guys fool yourselves if it makes you feel better.

Funny because you have nothing of substance to say except being butt hurt because I am speaking the truth. I said he is arguably the worst starting QB not that he conclusively is. There are other really crappy ones as well but to think he’s not in that conversation only shows what a fanboy you are.

Kenny is definitely not hurting the team with picks because all he does is throw check downs to RBs and sideline back shoulder go routes. Not going to throw a lot of picks when you almost never throw the ball to the middle of the field or on a deep route.

For all those disagreeing with me besides interceptions which obviously is an important stat check the above and take the L. KP is that bad statistically wether you want to believe it or not.

Of course Matt Canada gets blame as well but each week it is becoming more clear KP is not an NFL starting QB. Trust me I’m not happy about this it will set us back at least 5 years likely.

We are winning in spite of him obviously. He is not turning the ball over which is the only good thing he is currently doing. We have 8 games left still some against good teams my prediction is 9-8 which is the ceiling for a team with this level of QB play.

Yeah 6-3 beats the heck out of Mack Jones 2-8. There was an NFL QB so bad after his first 2 years that he had 19 TD's and threw 46 picks. Who was it Ryan Leaf? Jamarcus Russell? No it was our 4 time Superbowl winning QB Terry Bradshaw. I would have liked to hear some of the posters back then crying about what a waste of an overall first round pick that just set the franchise back for decades.
