What's this mean to you

Teams that don't have a losing record we have beat.
- browns
- raiders
- ravens

Team we lost to that have a winning record or is sub 500
- Texans
- jaguars

 

I didn't know how to title this. And in fact didn't know if there was a thread it could be put in, so I just made it.

But I know there's people out there when discussing playoffs that mention about winning against teams who have a winning record. So that is why I look at this right after the middle of the season.

 

As Rex Ryan said this morning teams that play defense and run the football will always win games.

 

Can warren take over and Harris be a #2? Lol

 

It means 6-3.

 

I'm not sure I understand your wording. Neither the Jags or the Texans are sub .500. Both have winning records.

 

Maybe at the time we played them is what it means.

 

The Jaguars were 5-2 when we played them

 

This is maybe the worst 6-3 team in NFL history....No one will be surprised if the Steelers collapse for the rest of the year and finish 9-8 and miss the playoffs but at least the streak will continue

What this post means to me:

 

Teams the Steelers have beat with a non-losing record- Balt, Cleve, LV. Teams they have lost to with winning records- SF, Jags, Texans.
Teams the Dolphins have beat with non-losing records- . Teams they have lost to with winning records- KC, Philly. And Buff, currently at 5-5.

 

i'm so confused.

 

Steelers have a single recipe for wins.

1.)Don't turn the ball over ever.

2.)Force turnovers.

Keep it close in the 4th quarter... win it.

The do not really have any other methods.


When they have lost, they got down fairly quick and were unable to come back.
Even when only down maybe 10 points at half time.

One good thing is the Steelers well seasoned for 4th heroics and theatrics.

They aren't set up well to come back in a game or have a game where they are going north of 30.

If we go North of 30, please consult the Guinness Book of World Records..

 

and we are playing Defense at the Ranking of .......31??!!!

I can't see this offensive juggernaut we have been blessed with beating any team with a decent defense. I believe both the Browns and Ravens are at the top in D categories. No way in hell we can beat them, oh wait, we beat em both.

 

The defense will need to keep the score down and even score some TD like they did in the first game vs Browns since our offense were once again awful vs Browns and Ravens....

 

Yep, no way I see us out gunning them on offense. IMO we will need 2 turnovers to have any chance. Although I am wondering how Watson's ankle is holding up? He did play pretty well in the second half after they taped him up. Hate to be mean but I sure wouldn't mind him missing a game or two.
