Pat p. Should of been player of the game. Blocked extra point. And that interception was because of his good play on the ball.i hear guys on here he is washed up. He is not.

 

He finally had a good game.

 

He has been playing better then Levi Wallace.

 

Levi Wallace is a complete liability out there. How does he continue to see the field??

 

Lack of CBs. It's funny. Go back to the draft, and look at how many people said He was fine, and We didn't need anymore CBs.

 

I seen Levi Wallace get completely toasted today.

 

Makes you wonder if/when Darius Rush will be pressed into action soon. As far as I can tell, Wallace has been a severe liability above all else. That said, given how Rush just recently arrived, could take even more time to get acclimated before seeing any meaningful snaps.

 

We don't win this game without those 2 big plays by Peterson.

 

Wallace if horrific. Doesn’t mean much if you play better than him.

 

Makes you wonder why they cut King for Rush instead of Wallace.

 

He literally directs the secondary like a coach on the field. He’s older and not physically capable of the level of play he displayed for his decade in Arizona but he’s far from washed. Also he’s versatile — effective at right or left CB, playing opposite a slot receiver, safety or blitzing. This is the end of his career but for Porter, the Steelers will do good to keep Peterson another 3 years if his body can go that long.

the interception doesn’t show up on a stat sheet but most of his value will not. Highsmith won’t get the stats that Watt gets but Watt isn’t as successful without Alex. Jussayin, even Jordan needed a Pippen and a Rodman

 

That play in the end zone was shades of Pat P in his prime. It was special.

 

I thought it was funny that after he batted the ball and it was picked, he had no idea it was picked, he was over in the camera mans face celebrating.

 

Celebration is the standard.

 

Could/should have been blocking down field. Where is player awareness, all they want is accolades.

 

rush played 30 snaps the game before last. he was inactive for this game. for some reason. just like mykal walker hasn't been added to the active roster. they are just trying to get him some reps in practice. this should have been started the day after the titans game. as i've said before, this team is always a week late in doing anything. MT is not a good coach. everyone talks about canada but austin is just as bad but has more talent at many spots. he was our DB coach too. nothing changes here.

 

That's not saying much, #29 has got to be the slowest corner in the league.

 

I think he knew it was picked, he didn't know Neal was dumb enough to run it out of the end zone.

Peterson is playing better lately because he is not for the most part playing on the outside. Porter is playing there. However that interception that he tipped in the end zone, I think he was on the outside or just playing man. Either way he is better when not on the outside due to his age.

 

I’ve been hard on Peterson, but he came up big yesterday. His coverage on Neal’s pick was excellent and blocking that PAT was equally huge. Without it, the Packers would’ve only needed a field goal to tie. Who knows what would have happened in that scenario? Good chance we would have been off to OT.

 

I thought about OT yesterday vs. Packers. Packers would likely have won the game if it went to OT. Packers were moving the ball with ease.... while Steelers offense couldn't get out of their own way.

The PAT block won the game for Steelers.

 

There was a sideline shot where Minka was having a heated discussion with Austin, who looked completely clueless

 

I have been honestly wondering why Mykal Walker was not activated for the game against Green Bay but Tariq Carpenter was. I get that Carpenter may give you more coverage capability bit it is not like Walker is new at the concept; 12 starts to his name no less. This all said, I do expect him to be active come this week as there are no other options currently available at the moment.

 

Walker has 20 starts.
