So hard for people to admit when they are wrong :roflmao:

This one is a particularly tough pill for people to swallow because they were so dug in on this debate.

Happy for him, paid his dues and listened to a lot of trash about him.

Doesn’t mean he is elite, just that he can actually play a lot better than was said about him.

It’s hard to keep up with which side of your mouth you talk out of :lolol:

Watch the film until its about wins and losses only, lol

You pimp a guy that couldnt get a call off the scrap heap yet teams keep giving up draft picks for Dobbs.

Again, the cards are the worst team in the league on paper this year...Dobbs is not elite but he is still a good option in short term for the vikings

He has 220 passing yards in the first half right now vs saints and the vikings are up 24-3...Better team and coaching matter big time in the NFL

Vikes went conservative, now Jamis Winston has a chance to put them in position to tie with a TD and 2pt conversion.

I'm happy for Dobbs. He's playing well for the vikings. It doesn't look to be a fluke either.

The stars seemed to finally align for him... pun intended. It think the right time, with the right players, with the right system, and the right coach he'll excel.

7th year in the league maybe it's slowing down a bit for him. He's using his mobility well also.

    Hoping his success continues

Let the season play out. You say how bad the Cardinals are, and that's why He only won one game.....Yet Murray won with the Cards today....after being out of football for 8 months. So instead of going gaga over a couple weeks let it play out. I mean if coaching means So much How does a Qb that's been off for 8 months come in , and win as many games with the team as Josh Dobbs did the whole time He was there???

I never said that Dobbs was better that Murray or a top 15 QB...Nice try but you are so off so often

No. That's not it. I just believe He smart, and many many Qbs that can hang around the NFL as long as He has are bound to get better, but people forget how bad He looked with us, and at that time We were a very dang good offense, and He couldn't move the ball. Yes He has grown up, and gotten better......I honestly expect most NFL Qb that have been in the league that long to do the same. I just find it funny after He lost all those game in a row with the Cardinals all of His now fans disappeared. Now they are back. How about We look at it at the end of the year.
I mean Murray came back after 8 months of being out of football today, and won with the Cardinals.

I for one am happy for Dobbs. He didn’t let his dream die, and he’s been a legit NFL QB all year. Not a star. Not a guy who is likely to get a big starter contract after the season. But just quality backup/spot starter level QB play. I’m not sure how anyone can discredit his play this year after floating around the league for a few years. I’m rooting hard for Dobbs to bring the Vikings to the playoffs.

However the season eventually turns out for him, good for Dobbs. He’s living his dream, and now he has a decent team around him. It’s going to be interesting to see what he can do in this situation.

I agree. I just get tired of Seeing.....if We had better coaching....he would have been great here $hit, and use what he is doing 20 years later.....on his 600th team as confirmation of this....He had a great offense when He was here, and He couldn't move the ball when needed. Otherwise.....more power to him....may He live long, and prosper.

@S.T.D@S.T.D I was just messing with you. Dobbs is a good backup QB, maybe more so in the QB room than on the field. My guess is maybe Tomlin goes 8-8 in 2019 with Dobbs, but with Fitchner as OC, maybe not. Dobbs has an offensive guru as a coach now, so the offense will be designed to his skillset. Everyone can't be a Joe Ferguson.

I'm happy for him, but let's not get carried away. He didn't suddenly become some elite qb.

His last 2 stops there was nothing expected of him so no pressure. That said, it's impressive how quicklyhe picked up a whole new offense. Good for him!

I will be curious to see what he does after playing, go back to that Science thing, stick around and try a coaching gig, or do the Fitzmagic thing and hit the sidelines with a TV deal. Something tells me we have not heard the last of Dobbs in the NFL, unless he absolutely loves that science thing.

Maybe we can jump on the Dobbs Bandwagon for QB coach in 2026 and OC in 2030?

And why was that???? Because He wasn't moving the ball on a team that had an awesome offense.
So....a little less than KFP is every game. LoL. I don't know why it's so hard for people to understand that most Qbs that stay in the NFL get better to a point. If You do something for 6- 7 years, and You don't get any better.....You really need to stop.....The problem is You don't have 7 years to give a Qb . Will You be fine with sticking with KFP to wait, and see if He gets better, or will You wait till He is in the league 6- 7 years....on his 6th teams, and then He starts looking better, and then say .....see ....if We had just kept Him. LoL. Because that's what most are trying to do, and say with this Dobbs thing... I mean in 6 years, and M. Willis starts being OK at QB.....does that mean then Blast was correct, and We should have drafted Him???
