It's like they all decided to take the ball out of Kenny's hands and really focus on the run. Aside from a few short throws, he's really not done much as far as moving the chains.

This offense feels entirely different with a ground game. Kenny just isn't the type of QB that can put the entire offense on his back - or at least not at this point in his career. Not for all 4 quarters anyway. The balance is paying off bigly.

I hope this is like the Michigan/Penn State game yesterday. Michigan had such a potent running game that they didn't attempt a pass in the second half.

Got to remember this is technically his first playing season. He needs to add some functional strength to make those blocks. I’m not expecting Steve Smith level, but something.

 

All this running will set up a good passing game IF we even need to pass with the way we are running the ball.
