Upset happen sometime in the playoffs...The ravens loss was a huge upset since they were the best regular season team in 2019 in the NFL....Not the case in both for the steelers

 

At least the chiefs could run the ball in 1995(the steelers were last in 2020)...It did not help their kicker had missed 3 FG in that game for the chiefs!

Or how about the 2006 Ravens? Ravens went 13-3 that year, 1st seed and lost at home, to the Colts.... 6-15!

 

Their defense were so dominant...One of the best defense in a single season to not win super bowl since 2000...But their offense was just awful once again

I warned you that the Steelers were bad even though their record at this time was respectable.....It was unsustainable the way they won, especially not with their atrocious offense...They were just lucky this year and even last year when they had a 9-8 record only because we had the entire NFC South in our schedule....We can't be blinded by that

 

Yup they are struggling with many things. I don’t think anyone can win with the QB situation we have and the stupid things Trubisky does. Players ejected, injuries and lack of motivation on defense after they watch the offense crapping out. The coaches didn’t throw behind Muth on 3rd down and certainly didn’t over throw Pickens in the middle. I still think they are in the first stages of a rebuild and it’s going to be a ruff ride.

Going back through comments in this thread was a trip. I don't know how it wasn't blatantly obvious that the 2023 Steelers were - even then - the biggest paper tigers in NFL history. The oft dismissed 2020 Steelers 11-0 mirage looks extremely stout and legit by comparison.

 

Luck ran out. Beating a dead horse but like everyone has said this team was overachieving because of luck and plays by the defense in key moments. Can’t do that entire season in 2023. They have ONE game all year where they out gained the opponent. That’s next level bad. Just hearing that you’d think they would be 1-13 right now.

 

They can't even lose right - they aren't good but they won't get the draft pick to go with it.

The entire franchise is a joke. Blow it up completely.
