Eagles signed T. Edmunds, and after only (I believe) one start...traded him to the Titans. Who then We saw T. Edmunds look positively stupid against us Thursday. LoL Showing how He still takes bad angles.

They will need a swing tackle to backup Jones and Moore next year, Moore is going into the last year of his contract.

Denver will want multiple high picks for Surtain, it's probably best to find another one in the draft.

You don't spend a high draft pick on a swing tackle. I wasn't saying they wouldn't draft a tackle at all, but it shouldn't be a high priority.

The going rate at the trade deadline was two 1st rounders and a 4th  I could see a 1st since they have issues with drafting and developing corners (sans Cam Sutton and hopefully Porter jr)

Definitely need to add a corner or two. Corner, right tackle, center in the draft.

But But they resigned Chuks :lolol:

How much moore do they need to see? Jones is the upgrade right now. But maybe they fear the fact that Moore would not be a good fit if Chuks gets injured to play right tackle. Jones did quite well on BOTH sides. IDK. They will hopefully cut Chuks and draft a Right Tackle.

I do believe that Right Tackle is a priority. Moore is not comfortable with the right side and is a lame duck next season. He should be the swing tackle.

They need to upgrade not only the right tackle position but they need to think about a center as well. Cole has not been a strength and has struggled.

Someone will want his services as a Left Tackle. How about Khan/ Weidl pulling off a trade? A 3rd and a 6th would be nice! Or maybe a 2nd!

They do relatively well with nickel corners, they just don't resign them.

Jones is apparently listed as a ‘co-starter’ now on the depth chart. Just start the kid, he’s an upgrade and the run game finally showed some life…. You can’t sit him back down now.

Money. People don't like hearing this, and sometimes its not always true, but very often on many many teams.....Money talks on who starts....it's why Trubisky is in front of Mason. It's not just us. You see it across the league.

Not a fan of Dan Moore Jr manning that Left Tackle spot but Chuks is worse in run blocking compared to Broderick. Granted, playing Right Tackle is simply not his spot but placing the best five on the Offensive Line is the best current option. Roll with whom you have.

Win or lose, have to ride with them.

Right now the lesser of evils is Moore at LT vs. Chuks at RT. Moore shows flashes of quality upon occasion. Chuks is… well Chuks.

Money is always a factor, but they also made an investment of a 1st round pick in Jones. And traded up to do it.

Moore needs to get comfortable on the right side. He only got part-time work there in one preseason. It might take more than that. Cornerback, center, defensive line, inside linebacker, and maybe even wide receiver are all higher priorities.

Im am no expert on O line but I watch it during games as a fan and from my view point it’s not been pretty. For me it all begins there! In fact, I think we should be looking there before critiquing even Canada. I don’t think Chuks should be starting if given the choice. Moore’s been fair but getting better as of late. Cole, can be a disaster but against Titans much better. They all were better last game IMO. EVEN Seamalu has had some serious hiccups but that could be attributed to the group. When we have to admit, that the man that we just acquired from another team is our best, well to me that’s an admission of failure.

So, yeah I would be starting Jones and we need to add some real first rate talent to the line. That means focusing more on that position in the draft. The line we had in front of Ben was a travesty.

That RT might play swing tackle as a rookie is my point, Moore might start but 2024 is probably his last year.

Chuks will be lucky to cash in this upcoming FA. Dan Moore just might but I definitely don't see a starting caliber Left Tackle in him. Serviceable?! Yes. Beyond that, Dan Moore is who he is at this point.

As stated before though... that is all we have at the moment. Roll with what ya got.

Well, we have Moore under contract for 2024, so he can’t cash in yet. I’m not sold on him as a long-term starter at LT either.

We need to fix C before LT. I’m not sure what Hassenauer is up to, but he was better a couple of years ago than Cole is right now.
