DJ has what Pickens does not. Should KP force the throws to Pickens because he is double covered? Not one fan would be disappointed if Steelers traded Pickens for a 1st or 2nd round draft pick in the off season.

I recall recently mentioning Pickens giving me Martavis Bryant vibes...

 

We've all seen Pickens make great toe tap catches along the sidelines. The blown TD in the end zone though was mind boggling, how did he not know where he was on the field? There is something off with him right now.

 

I grew up in the technical age and am pretty tech savvy but I'm afraid it's lost on me when pro ball players unfollow their coach, their team and delete all mention of the city and team from their social media. Do they really think it says anything other than hey create some clickbait articles about me wanting off the team. It ranks right up there with bragging about the amount of followers you have, doesn't impress me a bit.

I had a content creator on youtube do that to me. He portrays himself as a no nonsense man of the people reviewer and was giving his review of Hasbro's original Transformers Beast Wars toys. He admitted never having watched the show and based his entire review on his thoughts about the original 1984 cartoon and toy run. I commented that he should watch the show, play with the toys and then make the review because he would understand it better. He responded back that he said he never watched it so my comment was superfluous and that he had over 500 thousand subscribers and 10 years of content so dont tell him how to run his channel. I was like did you just brag about your subscribers and content? What a dick. The things ppl do. Sorry off topic

Back on topic, we know how this will end, it will only get worse and frost bitten feet and helmet issues later he will be some one else's problem.

 

He seems bipolar as he's all in one minute and now this. AB2.0. Bench him for the GB game and see how he responds to it. Keep benching him if he doesn't start acting like an adult, then move his dumb a$$ in the offseason for a nice pick or two.

Pickens showed some signs of these issues in college. We drafted him anyway.

I’m not saying we shouldn’t have drafted him, but we should go into this knowing there are going to be issues because that doesn’t magically get fixed with a pile of money and more fame.

 

I would. He is cheap right now and while it could create a toxic locker room I'd keep him let him practice all week then make him inactive on game day just to see if the light bulb goes on.

 

Ahhh yes, the zillionth recent example of someone thinking the guy behaving poorly (while making more money than most) is justified in his bad behavior. Bad is the new good. So F'd up. Pickens probably doesn't want to be outshined by a teammate. He doesn't understand that one week might be DJ's turn. The next week will be his turn.

He would not be the 1st time that a young and talented WR was traded from the Steelers. The Steelers traded Holmes who helped the Steelers win a SB. The Steelers traded Brown even though the cap took a huge hit. Claypool for JPJ. Pickens next?

The NFL should hold a symposium for rookie WR's to show where rookie/young and talented WR's were traded by being disgruntled.

The Steelers will have patience with Pickens until the patience runs out. No one is bigger than the team.

 

Pretty sure that's the chump who's been banging the drum for Mitch to play all year.......until he did.

 

Wish he could trade Pickens for Addison straight up.

I honestly understand why he Pickens is frustrated. I also realize he needs to have better self discipline as well. Allen Robinson can only do so much in that regard.
