This is a no-brainer. Kids a stud. So is Benton.

He did, but once again, he was better in the second half and clutch with the game on the line. I'm as disappointed as anybody with his play in the first half. There were no excuses tonight. He was just bad in that first half.

There was a lot of good and a lot of bad with Porter tonight. The good news is that he is a rookie and should get better. It is obvious that he has talent and can play.

Agreed. Jones needs to start. He is a huge upgrade over Okorafor and it showed in the overall play by the line tonight.

    Benton was great, too.

A win is a win ... Porter will be OK. Only one way to learn.

A win is a win, but that had more to do with the quality of the opponent.

All the pros on the panel basically saying the same thing.

    Tennessee isn't a good team.

Against a rookie QB, on the road, with only 3 days to prepare for it to come down to throws in the EZ at the end doesn't say much.

You let teams hang around - sometimes you get bit, sometimes you get a bounce. See the 94 and 95 AFCCGs .....

    Again...

If JPJ had a disaster of a night?!...

I am taking these results twice every day and OVER 9000 on Sundays!!

Joey Porter Sr. has raised his son very well. Let him figure out the rest as he grows. Once he does though?!... phew man...

    All Pro Potential here..

.... Hell, I had him going into the Top 15 in the draft for a reason y'know!! Have to send both the Washington Commanders and the Chicago Bears a years supply of Primanti Brothers for that!!! :steelflag::steelflag::steelflag:

Agreed. I never did see what Jones did. There were rough spots for him and Porter tonight, but both definitely earned their starting spots.

    For us?! Most definitively!

Hopefully Tomlin sees the same when he assess tape. Yes, Broderick did have two penalties but both are very correctable. Dude can play.

Most excited I have ever been for a Steelers Rookie since T.J. Watt!! :steelflag::steelflag::steelflag:

Man - just saw a stat this was the Steelers 56th consecutive game without 400 yds of total offense. The next 5 teams combined have 53.

Some of that is Canada, but it's on the QB too.

Agreed; doubly so in the first half.

Again, I am not saying.. I am just saying. Don't be surprised if the Steelers Brass bring one of their top Coaching Personnel (i.e. AR II, Omar Kahn, Mike Tomlin, Andy Weidl, new OC) to a QB Prospects Pro Day come 2024. Hell, don't be surprised if they talk to a couple of them during the NFL Combine either!!

To some degree. Tonight was as much due to the running game as anything.

Fitzpatrick looked sad and disgusted and was trying to highlight the negative before pivoting to fluff Will's Levis.
