Is this teams 5-3 record a reflection of over-achieving and lacking depth and talent or is it a reflection of a team that has potential to be more competitive but is just out of sync?

 

I don't know. He had ups and downs. He spent the majority of the night on DHop, who only had 60 yards. Not too bad for a kid in his second start. Or third?

I agree..... He was covering a top receiver. He had to be aggressive and that is going to pull some penalties. It was painful every time he did, but at the end of the day, Porter did very well against him.

Mind you, that is 60 Yards Total; not so much against Peezy Jr.


Gonna have to look harder into the film but I don't think JPJ surrendered more than two catches on him.

 

I thought it was a terrible penalty. Yes, he had a hand on him, but not enough to restrict the receiver's movement. It's a weak call in that situation.

Random musings:

I saw the video of the injury to Holcomb. Ghastly AF. Hyperextension, maybe broken left femur or tibia or something. Total freak play, got leg whipped by a teammate.
Can’t blame Canada too much for the low points, they did not execute well in general today, but pulled out just enough freddy to win the turkey.
Defense played decently, considering no Minkah.
I guess 5 and 3 is 5 and 3, however you get there.
Injuries are starting to mount up.
I guessed that the Stillers would win 21-17. Maybe I will get some points!
