They weren’t even trying to throw that for a gain, that was a play called hoping for a PI call

 

Complain about Canada all you want (and I don't think he's good) but that's a terrible play call on 4th and 4. Low percentage throw down the sideline. I know Hopkins was doubled, but put a route combo in to drag another WR or RB off Hopkins back.

That's a bad play design, and for once it's someone else.

Lots of injuries these days. I'm not going to attempt an argument for reasons, but I do note that every year these players wear less and less pads. Hell, now no knee pads. SOme of these pads are paper thin. Sure miss the Lloyd hulk pads. Watt looks like he has qb pads on.
