I cannot blame him at this point. Canada has actually called a very good game. Pickett simply is not hitting the throws he needs to.

It's because we know the Steelers. Even he clearly isn't the guy, which many believe he isn't, we'll be stuck with him for at least the next 3 years. The Steelers would never admit that they're wrong. He'll win just enough games for them to keep running him out there. By then, all our stars will be old or retired. Not to mention, us old bastards will be another 3 years older.

 

Need to unload Pickett in the offseason. He stinks. He is getting totally outplayed at home by a rookie QB making his 2nd start on a short week.

Yup. Canada's design has been fine. They are running the ball. The pass protection is solid. The receivers are open. Pickett just isn't hitting open receivers. He blew the second drive by failing to hit Pickens in stride. He missed what should have been a long touchdown to Austin. He missed Robinson in the end zone on the field goal drive. This should be 21-13 and it wouldn't have taken anything spectacular. Just hit open throws when he has time.

 

Let's go dudes! Wash the nasty taste of that first half out of your mouths with some Gatorade and lets see some old school Steeler football. Run the ball and get to this rookie QB!

He was just calling out Kenny's several dropped passes and while it's typical to blame Canada, he can't really be blamed for how stagnant the offense has been this game.
