Speaking of Halloween - my favorite Halloween themed organ/piano,guitar filled song of all time - the barely perceptible haunting wind to start out the recording was always a keeper for me. Well done Sir Elton! :applaud: There are some awesome live versions of this song with great guitar jams but non seem to capture the studio opening wind/organ moments.

Another Halloween Haunting tune that was quite scary in 1970 after ingesting some electric mushrooms. :zombie:

off topic: My Razorback friend seems to be backing down from a bet. You said you'd take on any poster with real $$$ that the Steelers WILL NOT finish last in AFCN. I will take that bet and will wait to see if my inbox has a message from you talking about terms.

Ok something a little different. The Dillards were on the Andy Griffith show a few times. They are fun to listen to if you need to lighten up your mood.

I haven't listened to a ton of Fozzy's stuff, but know Jericho from his WWE days and always liked that track.

Ever wonder why the bass in most of todays rock/hard rock/ metal is so low in the mix??? Whereas in the 60s, and70s it was so stand out. I miss it, and I'm a Guitar player.

I don’t know, but it annoys the hell out of me. To me the greatest bands all have great rhythm sections. These days the bass players are frequently seemed to be turned down in the mix. Hell that’s what Metallica did with Jason Newstedt. Not that he’s a great bass player, but he’s almost nonexistent on their recordings.
