Do the Steelers create unwatchable football games?

Mostly agree except for the team talent. I am not so sure we are that bad off talent wise, as we have lost to teams like the NE who may not be as talented. So, the question is, should we be performing better with the talent we do have? Just wondering.

 

This is probably the closest to how I feel on Sunday. Maybe it is age, but I just do have not felt excitement, I watch because I am a fan and the team still interests me, but any real hope that anything exciting will happen is soon put down. After this off season and then preseason there was an actual excitement, not that we would be in the SB, but at least competitive in output in all angles of the game. I will still tune in, but increasingly find it easier to find something else to do, that includes doing so knowing a 4th quater comeback is possible, seeing a pile of dog crap covered with a hershey kiss does not make the entire thing pretty.

 

Win Lose or Tie fan. Sucking offense-- oh well --defense is great makes worth watching Also watching to see ridiculous play calls is funny. Worth Watching to see if Tomlin has losing season.

 

Well, Groundhog day is a great film, so I guess that would make the Steelers a great watch if you follow the logic.

 

It is hard not to watch this train wreck every single week. We all know what is coming but can't look away.

 

I personally love watching Tribpicksy throw up hail marys for interceptions

 

Instead of admitting they made a terrible mistake - they bring him back. That's the Steelers to a "T".

Ploughing on down the same old road, blinkers on, hoping that this time they don't run into the same dead end they ran into last time and 100 times before that.

 

Barely watchable with Kenny, completely unwatchable with Mitch

That’s awesome! I have young kids (i don’t think you have any) and they watch the game with me so I don’t think your approach would help in my case.

 

I've noticed where I live that as half time nears, and we have 3 pts. We begin to hear the leaf blowers crank up.

 

They sure play unwatchable football tonight. I think, not certain, you can only watch on Amazon Prime? Kind of wish I used Amazon more.

 

It’s been a tough watch the minute Big Ben hurt his arm. Every game only has one way to win. D amazing with a few turnovers to help o score. It won’t change next ten weeks either and whether we win anywhere from 7-10 games. We will get crushed in first round of playoffs if we make it. Zero shot at going far

 

I watch because i'm a Steeler Fan. But the fire I used to have and looking forward to a game has dwindled.

Never been a Pom Pom guy like some. Reality is it's getting quite old watching this stale product.

Ben held this ship together all the while as the once proud defense faded away and was not replaced properly. And still has its issues.

In Tomlins HOF speech he best highlight how Ben kept him relevant and that he's standing up there because of him, obviously...

 

I don't watch any other sport consistently and football is the only sport I watch. I go out of my way to watch the steelers and typically attend 1 game a yr. They are painstakingly unwatchable yet I still watch and unless something drastically changes will continue to watch. As we all know as fans who watch most games the plays are predictable, how the game will play out is predictable, and if we somehow make the playoffs we know how that will go.

I find it extremely hard to believe we cant ever have a good opening drive. These plays should be scripted and you'd think 1 time over 3 years it would look good. This year I feel like 1 drive had plays build off one another in which we quickly moved down the field and scored. I assumed play 2 of the year when mr jet sweep called his favorite play the preseason was a sham and we'd be in for a long year of the same old same old.
