I’m not sure Cole getting manhandled and spun around consistently is a scheme issue, but I don’t disagree that the line has underachieved and that can be linked to coaching.

 

I never knew it meant anything either until I saw a minority flip out on a guy for using the word. Everyone was completely confused. I just think it is ridiculous that people can take common words and be triggered and assume they mean same thing to everyone. I understand it us prudent to be careful with your words but you can’t go around your whole life using generally common words and be fearful of triggering or insulting someone. The people getting insulted should be a little more mindful and extend to grace to others and actually believe people are using a word according to it’s a tusk intent or perhaps a term of endearment instead of immediately looking for a reason to be offended.

 

No Cole needs replaced but funny how he did fairly well last year. Scheme and confusing assignments can absolutely affect Coles play. He could be Kate in his pass set or out of position due to confusion which doesn’t allow him to get proper leverage and anchor etc.

 

Between how badly he is blocking combined with his complete inability to snap the ball in shotgun formation, he has been a disaster this season.

Don't underestimate the impact of consistently bad snaps. When your inexperienced QB is having to constantly pick the football off the turf before he can look up and view the field, that's a problem. It seems like almost every snap is inaccurate. It often throws off the timing of plays and contributes to bad footwork plus the split seconds you lose to secure the snap. When you combine that with all the other crap going on around Pickett and his own struggles, this stuff adds up and contributes to the problems.

 

If Harris was his favorite as a first round pick he would be getting 20-25 carries a game, not 15 or less and splitting time with an UDFA in Warren .

hate to tell you it's not all just about black history. i can tell you the irish, italians, chinese were every bit as abused. you just don't hear the uproar about that though. it's history though. times were quite different then as they are now but some won't let it stay in history. why one race has to be put down to prop up another is just as bad. too much media.

 

Where did I say it was all about black history? I know what went on in the past of this country in regards to other races .

And nobody could have known this, but as of now, all of the most notable vet QBs who being spoken about have not turned into much - Carr, Garappalo, Mayfield and even Rogers situation could have happened anywhere.

And with our O- line and offense they all would have been ineffective like KFP. Only Rogers has the clout to bent the situation towards his will much like Ben.

 

Tomlin picks every player , picks all the coaches , calls all the plays what else do you need to know? Tomlin is in a rut he’s been terrible

 

well that was the way the conversation was leaning. it's the flavor of the month in the forefront of the media. the rest of the races are grouped as white only. how they were treated and the names and things done to them were terrible. that is history as well but never comes to the front. many don't know about it. it's not on their phones every day. it makes it worse when people pick and choose what history they want to follow and disregard other history.

 

first round doesn't have to mean you have to play left tackle. we spent a 1st round pick on a right guard a few years back. put them in the best place to help the team.
