Interior of Steelers line is dreadful, why are we getting hung up on our tackles?

So by that logic we don’t need to upgrade at CB either

According to Andrew Fillipponi, the Steelers are the front runners. FWIW

I’d like to see a center brought in, but I can certainly see the need in the secondary as well.

Fillipponi unfortunately is not known for saying anything accurate or intelligent

I just don’t see ether as long term Steelers so why not try to get something for them.

It was obviously implied. I didn’t think that at all when “boy” was mentioned until the poster reacted to the comment and used Brady as a reference. I then put one and two together and figured it out. I wasn’t the one that got insulted by the harmless comment. I was basically saying chill and then you have to get your two cents in. What’s the male name for Karen?

The whole line is bad. For the most part it is not a talent issue. These guys have proven to be successful elsewhere. The coaching and scheme have to be changed.

The line is a scheme and coaching issue. The secondary is a talent issue.

Must admit I never knew the word "boy" was anything but boy. I golfed with a black guy for a good 15-20 years until he moved away. I constantly said it around him and he never said anything about it. His church had a golf outing to raise money. I was a minority on that golf course that day. The night before he called me up to tell me I best be careful with that word during tournament. He then explained to me why. I did ask him why he never told me about it. He said he could tell I had no idea it could be derogatory.

Steelresolve apparently….. I wasn’t the least bit insulted, I thought it was sad. You put one and two together to make a point. The only thing you figured out is that you can’t add.

Yes, totally agree but my point is I don't have the as much confidence in who does the picking, nor afterwards who develops them. JMO>

Can out GM trade himself to the 49ers for their GM and a few second rounders and maybe hire their accounting department as well man they have a lot of players

You're just guessing, you have no idea. Tomlin is obviously very involved in the draft. Is it possible Tomlin didn't want Pickett or Harris? Maybe. It's also possible he pushed very hard for both and Colbert listened.

I just can't imagine Colbert would take a player Tomlin didn't want when he knew he was leaving.

Oh I could. Especially if Rooney was pushing the Pitt guy.

News to me but then again everyone can make anything up they want and imply whatever they feel like doing. I’ve been called boy a thousand times during my life and I’m white as snow. Some people just come up with crap that makes little sense.

Yup, hes heavily involved and a lot more to do with who gets picked than many believe.

There is probably no coach more actively involved with the draft process than Tomlin, the beat writers comment on it all the time, he lives for it.

I think the GM has done a fine job in his short time here. He helped put together an excellent draft class.

The coaching staff has taken the upgrade in talent, and have the team, particularly the entire offense and the young QB, going in the wrong direction and getting worse.

I don't think the GM should go anywhere and has so far been a good addition to the organization.

Well then why comment? Funny how I’m the one you target but the guy that actually got offended over a completely harmless remark is not judged.
