What are you basing that on? Tomlin was part of the process both times. Khan was, too, especially with Pickett, which was right before he took over for Colbert.

I saw lots of holes being created and he was getting to the second level a lot before contact. Etienne would have had 58 yards behind our Oline.

Rooney went on and on before that draft about establishing the run and needing a feature RB. The Steelers way. I think Rooney fell in love with his story and there was no going back.

I don’t think Kahn takes either of those guys if he was GM.

Based on Tomlins comments and history, I’m convinced he would have preferred trading for a veteran QB over rolling with a rookie.

Part of the process doesn’t mean you don’t get outvoted.

None of that is evidence that Tomlin didn't want Harris or Pickett. The best evidence we have regarding Pickett was his reaction on draft night, when he seemed to be thrilled that Pickett fell to them.

I didn't claim that it was incontrovertible evidence, but it is what we've got.

I don't know what the tackle market is right now, and are we 100% certain that we are good rolling with Cook as our swing tackle for the season? I would say Chuks time is in the offseason. Either traded or released for monetary reasons.

Harris doesn't need to go. I wouldn't pick up his option, but I doubt teams are trying to trade for him. Not gonna get much for him. Just draft a mid round RB and run Warren, that guy, McFarland and Igwebuike. Can move on from Harris after the season or just let him walk after next. I doubt we are looking to get rid of him since haven't even convinced ourselves that he isn't the best RB on the roster yet (he's not).

Supposedly we are in the corner market to some extent (as we should be). We will see what that means.

We tried mid-round RBs such as Snell and Samuels. Didn’t go well with a solid OL led by Pouncey and will not go well with one led by Cole.

The Bears CB might be a little steep but Jair Elam from Buffalo would be a nice fit. He is a lanky press man corner. I would trade Wallace and a fifth for Elam.

Not many left tackles want to switch to the right side. Left tackles make more money than right tackles. So he would be giving that up to move to the right

Pure speculation. There is no proof than any running back would perform better on this team Not caring if najee is let go or not it just doesn't matter

Who mentioned race? He just said it was disrespectful. If someone disrespects someone who happens to be a minority, do you always cry race baiting and circle your wagons? Unless the first thing you thought of when you saw the word “boy” was a minority you should probably take a critical look at yourself and maybe make improvements.

He only has one year left on his contract so to move him to RT he will want a favorable contract extension other wise he will be better off as a FA in 2025

Why would we do that? Maybe get someone else to do the picking would be better, no?

If the options are to start at right tackle or be benched, right tackle becomes more attractive.

The bears are asking for 1 or 2 second day draft picks for JJ. Get this done!
