My thoughts on regular season wk 8

So does any of this disprove what I said???
Is not a team lining up for a easy field goal to win a game , and missing it not luck, or is it just luck if it happens for us. Many games have been won, and lost on last plays this year. Go look.

 

It's just not sustainable to win when you're dominated by 100 yards or more at halftime almost every game.The steelers can only win by one way in the last 3 years

 

I'm not saying that isn't true. I agree with You on that point. I'm just pointing out that teams every week win with luck going their way. I see it every week....if this flag isn't thrown, or this flag is thrown properly...that team doesn't win, or if a simple field goal is made the other team loses.

I hope so, too, but it looked like it was at least a hamstring pull, not a cramp. We saw how long a similar injury took Johnson out of the lineup.

 

I know others have mentioned this, but they really need to make more of an effort to throw the ball to Washington. I don't mean force it there five or six times, but they have to show they are at least willing to use him or it just makes things way too easy on the defense.

That's part of a parity league, even the best teams have off weeks, or face divisional opponents that give them hard fought games regardless of records. That said, there is something off putting when Tomlin makes statements about the first drive(s) do not matter, or we don't look at how many yards they have. We are not going to win every battle. but when you O consistently stinks for an entire half, when your D (who has been on the field forever) get's you 3 turnovers and you still can't score, when you get to the point of blaming the officials for the loss, then you are on the verge of losing your locker room (if he hasn''t already), then you might as well shut it down. Read today where Jags players were mocking the plays, saying they knew what was coming, that happens, but this is not new, for 3 years we have been hearing the same thing. It's beyond old and frustrating, it's beyond sometimes getting embarrassed, it's wondering when the embarrassment will end and I have little hope it will anytime soon.

 

can we get 2 new back-up QB since they won't play Mason and Mitch obviously sucks <but they won't----- because Matt Canada is still here, and no one listens to fans>

 

Dude....You have to look past what they say after games. Go look at every Coach after a game. Not a one of them tell what they feel, or really think. It's just talk because they have to.
Also teams have been saying this about them knowing our plays before Canada was even a OC. Hell they were saying the same thing when We went 11-0. Why do You think they are saying that??? Because they know it make Steelers fans mad. Do You honestly think if every team knew all of our plays We would ever score, ever win??? They said they knew all our plays....Yet if KFP doesn't throw a bit to High on the very 1st pass, and DJ doesn't drop it...its a td. If He doesn't throw behind DJ on the end zone it's another td. Don't let anger make You not think straight. If they knew all the plays neither of those routes would have been open. Hell DJ was so open in the end zone KFP moved around....didn't see him, and then finally seen Him, and He was still open. They know everyone hates the OC so it make it easy to say. It's like a fighter taunting His opponent....He doesn't say anything for their sake....he say it to make them mad, and not think straight.

 

Steelers have to play a perfect game to win and that’s hard and not feasible or sustainable. The way they play will get them right where they are a 7-9 win team. Would be real nice if they got off their fact finding exploratory missions in the first quarter and actually scored first which BYW would give big Mike a 67% chance of winning the game

 

The Jags LBer Foye Oluokon said they knew the plays before they happened. Not the first team to reveal this.

How about the red zone play where DJ was open for 5 seconds, and KFP threw behind him.....the Jags knew that play also.....they were just going to be nice, and let us score???? LoL. All those team the year we went 11-0 said the same thing. I guess they just felt sorry for us, and let us score, and win. LoL. Come on use Your head My Friend.

Just one question. If everyone knows all our plays how do You explain people getting open.....some even college open??? No body is saying Canada is good....all I'm saying is other teams saying they no all the plays coming are lying, and some of You are actually believing it.
