Negative Threads!

There are several fans that have gotten on me for posting what they call "negative threads" but those same fans, (I'm not going to call anyone out),are posting the same threads that they call "negative threads". Wow!!!! I'm not going to call your post negative at all but I will say this. Welcome to the world of REALITY! Maybe next year our team will have it together and make a good run.

GOOD POST slick.. several weeks ago i said i was sick of tomlin the golden boy and his standrd is the standard BS... and tons of fans jumped on me.. hows that 7-9 or 8-8 no offense standard working out for us right now.. if the standard is the standard and the steeler standard is winning tomlin needs to take a hike.. hes lost the O on this team and lebeau is probably the only thing keeping the D together..

and changing OC's had nothing to do with it. kind of funny how last year everything (including the defensive blunders) was the fault of the OC. but now it's somebody else s fault

lol, I'd forget about him and his defenders. caught like 2 passed in 3 seasons but just give him a chance and he'd be the next Michale Irving. I still remember those threads from the old official MB

and even more bizarre, the same wizards of smart that wanted us to dump BA now have their sights on Ben.

 

I too am a lil surprised about all the negative posts but its a message board and everyone is bummed about the loss..... Give this board about a week and we all will be talking about how much we all love the steelersagain and cant wait until next year

Good post. Someone said they were keeping track of me because I recognized they just dont have it. Look at all the little things.

Cant return anything without penalty.

Cant get turnovers (Today was their best effort).

RB lines up 11 yards off the ball and they wonder why they suck on short yardage plays.

Lose field position battle since Giants game.

Too many FG's early in season in red zone

Ben holds ball but instead of creating big plays- more negetive plays are happening- cannot take sacks that knock you out of FG position(a Ben specialty this season)

Turnovers on offense

Lack of pressure on other teams QB

Same old guys spending half the year in the hot tub.




I sure hope that cool aid drinking Steelers fan that called me out realizes there is more to winning then strappin on the Black and Yellow

 

"Always with the negative waves" Loved Kellys Heroes the movie and Donald Sutherland saying that. Kind of fitting here. LOL

 

I called you out a couple of times because I was drinking the cool aid. You got it right and predicted our demise, mabe your a realist and Im a dreamer. Hopefully next year we will both be cheering and winning! I do like your Jersey (Why isnt Mean Joe caoching for us?).

 

Steelcop, everyone here loves the Steelers and I don't hold any grudges to anyone on this board, we get emotional over the love of our beloved Steelers and sometimes we take it out on each other BUT next year we will get to the promise land. Let’s just root for the 9ers and Dallas to get booted so that we can still claim the title of the only team to win SIX Super Bowls. -slick

 

Why are negative posts so shocking? We are Pittsburgh Steelers fans, we expect to make the playoffs EVERY YEAR and have a contender. So now we've missed the playoffs twice under Tomlin.... and just the 3rd time since 2003 (pre-Ben era). We expect more, and when it doesn't happen???? Negative posts. Accept it or find another way to vent frustrations.
