I’m sure Ben said it. But I doubt very he really believes it.

I think that outside of Brady, this is a very difficult claim to make. Different rules, different equipment, different play strategies....etc. Very hard to make a comparison with QBs that are playing decades apart. Best in a generation, yes, but can you really compare a Dan Marino against a Tom Brady in a fair comparison?

Big Ben is only saying that because he scared of Terry.

I did not say they did. I was just using them to make a point that you can't really compare players from decades apart with each other as there are so many factors that affect how good a player is at any given time. I just did not phrase it well I guess. :)

I can definitely say without question that Terry Bradshaw is the best QB in Steelers history. It’s not even worth debating.

I think Ben means it. Does have to bring stats into the equation?

Funny Terry Bradshaw said today that He wasn't a very good Qb, and that He was led by a Great Defense. Don't believe Me look it up. He said it today on C. Cowherd. He also brought up He only had 2 more tds than He had ints.....but I know He says this to be nice....just like Ben says it. Almost to a tee.....Qbs don't down each other. They feel Like a brotherhood.

Ben said what he said. Bradshaw has more rings, Ben is better in every other category.

Ben never threw as pretty a deep ball as Bradshaw. Those things were 50 yard lazers.

There are only a handful of QB's that had Bradshaw's arm strength. In his day, it was Daryl LaMonica and Bert Jones. Elway had a cannon. Josh Allen can zing it. Doug Williams is another. Jeff George. Bradshaw credited his throwing motion to his prowess as a javelin thrower.

Terry was a big game QB, particularly as his career matured. Same as Franco was a money back.

I will repeat one played with what many said is the Greatest Steelers player ever, and one didn't. One played with with 9 HOF players and One head coach, and one did it with 2 different HC, and only 1 HOF player He had longer than 2 years.
    Believe what You want.

“He doesn’t like me and I’m learning not to like him”

    -Terry Bradshaw

Ben and TB have had the best relationship but has thawed in recent years.

In pregame warmups Bradshaw was siting (sitting) on the 50 yard line and was throwing the ball through the uprights in the end zone

That to me is what differentiates Bradshaw from Ben and I’ve argued that many times. The fact is, when TB12 (the real one) needed to make a play in the biggest games at the most crucial times, he made a play! And by making a play I’m not talking about dinking and dunking down the field, I’m talking about firing 40 and 50 yard missiles down the field for huge gains and touchdowns. I still contend that if I had to pick one quarterback in his prime to win one Super Bowl, I’m taking the Blonde Bomber all day long!

And the way he gripped the ball was unique in that he put his index finger on the tip of the football.

I watched that today; Ben said he dominates Terry in stats, because of the era he played in, but 4 Superbowl wins makes Terry the best Steeler QB.
