Yes, in the 4th qtr, he shouldn't dress next week. He is slow and has no awareness.

 

Desire nor demeanor is the problem here. Fundamentals and technique are. His tackling can be fixed as JPJ has shown all of us he can be physical when needed. Growing pains will happen.

Finally got Gunner off this team, he’lla frick’n lueaha. Was tired of competing against the opposing team and gunner. Wallace is gunner in the back end.

most corners in the NFL can't tackle.

 

He was actually one of the most physical corners coming out; Devon Whitherspoon being number one. His tackling form needs work for certain. To that end, Peezy Jr needs more live reps to acclimate himself to better habits.

 

The problem is the way Steelers play defense they expect our Corners to play outside contain on the run. That’s why Watt and Highsmith crash down the line of scrimmage on run plays. They aren’t asked to contain the edge. I don’t like it but for some reason that’s what we do.

Don’t get me wrong I like the splash plays but I just don’t like the way our players are coached or schemed against the run on defense.

 

Wallace had a really bad game.
I think he can do better.
And Peterson is on the field way too much. I didn't envision him starting, more of a rotational guy and more of lending his experience and wisdom.
The secondary has too many up and downs.

man, did we over-reach on Peterson. But that was stated on day one by some here.....

 

Definitely talking about #29. Peterson is playable.

 

Wallace is putrid and needs to get packing sooner then later.
