I’m not really sure what happened. I had just read that he got the boot.

    I should have said "elite".

Yeah despite the hiccup I would put SF in that.

You could argue Browns look better without Watson.

Do you think Ravens are elite? The Lions are probably this years overrated "hipster" team.

SF did it to us week 1 I almost puked. LA folks are on the beach picking up chicks I guess they don’t care? Some of the other fan bases just suck.

I go to a lot of away games. Steelers fans always show up in big numbers. It's been that way for decades.

OP, you be very good in your assessments!

#3 worries me the most. I get the young man swagger but take that with maturity and you got something real special. I use to get so PO'd at AB with that celebration crap that cost us on kickoffs. I have no answer for the problem but I worry those two could cost us a game with their antics.

The Ravens are 5-2. There are only 3 teams with better records. San Fran is 5-1, but we'll see how well they do tonight without Deebo and Trent Williams, now that the "Brock Purdy Mystique" is no more. The Lions started the year beating KC in KC, so it's not like they haven't beaten anyone.
Well, up until yesterday, everyone thought the Dolphins were closing in on it. But their five wins have been against teams with 2, 2, 2, 2, and 0 wins. Our four wins have been against teams with 5, 4, 3, and 2 wins. So the teams they've beaten are averaging 1.6 wins per team, and the teams we're beating are averaging 3.5 wins. But "we haven't beaten anyone".

Cam isn’t expected to return until week 10. At least that was the report last week

good point. i flew to LA to watch the game locally with my bro and the sports bar owner wouldn't even play the audio to the Rams/Steelers game in the bar. He played the Packers audio instead.
Half the sports bar was empty. the chicks on the beach were nice though....

The worst part of that for me was that Diontae got flagged almost immediately after the Pickens flag... how can you see your teammate get flagged and then go right out and make the same boneheaded mistake

Fehoko's issue is he has no pass rush acumen... but what he does is exactly what the defense needs..... the run defense in a 3-4 scheme only works when you have that immovable object in the middle of the line, and that's what Fehoko is... don't let his practice squad status fool you.. he should be out there.. it's no different than JPJ coming off the bench because he has issues tackling.. would you argue against him needing to be on the field???? We have plenty of pass rushers. We need to plug up the middle

What's really funny/sad is that when the season starts to wind down Boz will be on the list of players that some fans want cut because they feel what he has can be found for cheaper.

They also need the DE's not to be activated. Those front 3 hold the line, string the play out and allow the LB's to flow to the ball carrier. When Tomlin and Butler decided to let their 3-4 DE's act more like 4-3 guys the foundation of run defense started to errode.

Officiating has seemed to be second tier all across the NFL this year. Missed calls, weak calls, WTF calls that change the outcome of the game......It has been a lot of that sort of thing all year for all teams. Sometimes you benefit and sometimes you get the smackdown.

I am going with Miami. They beat the Chargers, Patriots, Broncos, Giants and Panthers. They lost to the Bills and the Eagles. See the trend? I think that the media has a love affair with Tua's name and they just love saying it. Miami also crushed the Broncos and started everyone oohhh ahhhing everything Miami. They are a decent team, but they are losing to the good teams.

Good luck replacing Boz whatever you're spending. Even with a medicore 2022 due to that groin injury, he's still the 11th most accurate kicker in NFL History.

Probably trolls from other teams that want him released so that they can grab him......lol

Every kicker goes thru a few yips now and then. Boz seems to do that less than most and the guy is clutch in the most stressful of situations. Here is a stat for you......The Steelers have scored 103 points thru week 7 if I did my math right. Boswell's foot has account for 41 of those points. Chris Boswell's foot is responsible for 40% of all points the Steelers have this year.

We have a lot of board members that are magic bean believers. They look at the salary cap and then start making cuts of solid players who more money than the member thinks they are worth. They also favor trading a generational player like Watt for draft picks(magic beans) because the Steelers should strike while the market is high. My favorite suggestion was cutting a 7 year vet long snapper because the league min of 1 million was to high for something a backup center could do(not my opinion) and think the 450k they would save could buy a magic bean player in FA. It's just sad.

I remember when Jon gruden traded Khalil Mack away. I guess he was after some magic beans too....lol.... Or, in light of the emails, maybe he just didn't like Khalil Mack for some reason. I do remember a year or two later though and Khalil Mack was still killing it and John gruden was asked something about it and when they pointed out how well Khalil Mack was still doing, John Gruden was just like hmm okay...... While his raiders were headed nowhere.

It doesn't matter who we play, TJ Watt is either the best player on the field offense or defense, or he's in the top three for sure. If you trade something like that away, you're just consigning yourself to 3 years of rebuilding minimum. And even then, you're probably never going to see something like TJ in your new lineup.

ESPN showed this morning that the refs absolutely gave the game to the Browns yesterday. 3rd and goal from the 10 and PJ Walker sails the ball out of the end zone that hit the front of the bleachers and the ref called PI on the Colts defender. Someone 12 feet tall couldn't have caught the ball but refs didn't rule it an uncatchable pass.
