3rd and 1 empty back field before Suishams miss. What happened to Steelers football?

Steelers football died when Tomlin came to town. We haven't had a good running game since then

and ben could have run for a first down easily , ben was off all day ,maybe because he had to apologize during the week , maybe he came into his head , you know is not very clever

That play hurt us but other plays also allowed us to lose this game

Yeah I mean I could make the case that when we missed that FG it cost us the game. Also if you wanna REALLY get down to the nitty gritty the D gave up 6 today right? Well if Ben didn't throw that pick who wins the game? There's just so much blame to go around.

I couldn't understand not running it there. The Steelers were running tthe ball right at the Bengals all the way down the field. They could not stop it. Put in a FB and Redman and we win the game period! Ben could have run for the first is another blunder with that play.

The missed FG was a low snap with the laces right at Suishams foot. It was like I was watching it in slow motion. I knew it was shanked.

Not so sure about that, does anyone have that clip? I remember a defender right in front of Ben, could be mistaken.

Yeah and Tomlin has really made some stupid decisions to hurt Suisham's confidence. You know kickers are weird like that. Making him kick a FG that even Jeff Reed would've missed is just retarded. But maybe Tomlin thought that's as close as we were gonna get to scoring because our offense can't do anything anyway. Sadly between the 40 and 50 is the red zone for these clowns.

It was a stupid formation and a stupid play call for that time and place. Stick your fullback in there and your best back and go at with two chances if necessary to get the 1 yard. Not playing Steeler football for sure.:facepalm::facepalm: I was screaming at the tv when I saw the formation and said before the play was run, WE DESERVE TO
    LOSE

BA-ball minus the gaudy yardage stats. It was bothersome to see that formation in that situation, again.

They cant liine up on short yardage plays and bully people with their TB 11 yards off line of scrimmage. They need to stop running slow as developing plays on short yardage downs.
