Find where I asserted such a thing. I'll admit, I might have, because if Chubb didn't go down vs. the Browns we probably wouldn't have won that game. I simply represent the truth, and truth is not always popular with fans, which is short for "fandom" which is another way of saying "zealot."

    zealot /zĕl′ət/
    noun
    1. One who is zealous, especially excessively so.
    2. A fanatically committed person.
    3. A member of a Jewish movement of the first century AD that fought against Roman rule in Palestine as incompatible with strict monotheism.

In my opinion Steelers and Tomlin just wasted 3 years with Canada at the helm . Like to see if they actually did anything over bye week to fix stuff we will know soon enough. What sucks is before we use to hope for a SB and we had a shot now we just hope to sneak in playoffs as a 6 seed.

Notice You never say in any of our playoff losses that You always bring up .....how much different they would be if We didn't have injuries....only if We beat a team , and they have injuries do You say anything.....just like the Ravens game didn't you go on, and on about us winning because they had drops, but not once did you mention our drops, or our drops for a td, and having to take a field goal instead. This is what I'm getting at. You only see the bad. Yet both happens.

I think we are up to hoping for a 7th seed these days. (There are 7 payoff spots per conference now.) Keeping Canada at the helm was indeed a total waste of 3 years. And the excuses given by the team are nothing short of preposterous. NO other NFL team, regardless of how sloppily run, would have kept Canada this long. None. The arrogance/stubbornness of this team is unmatched. How Rooney and Tomlin thought bringing back Canada would be OK in mind-boggling.

For the remainder of the season, all of us will find out if Kenny Pickett really is the guy or not. That is the first order of business that needs sorted out. Once that is figured out, proceed figuring out the rest of the shortcomings on the Roster.

Retool and ready up again for 2024.

    Silverback is

But Hardini68 is a fellow card carrying member

After the loss to the Texans he had way over 50 redundant bull**** posts I actually counted

He continued into the Ravens game and the moment we went ahead poof he climbed back under a rock

So now our last 3 playoff, blowout losses were due to injuries? OK, now you're reduced to one of those guys. All teams have injuries; Green Bay had like 11 players out when they beat us in the Super Bowl or something crazy like that.

I didn't know they needed to be looked up since you posted the number. I thought you had already looked it up. Why else would you post that number?

What a way to spin it. Grant was lost in week one. Barnett was lost in week 4. Finley was lost in week 5. None of those losses kept them from actually getting to the Super Bowl.
Woodson and Driver were injured in the first half of the Super Bowl game. Green Bay still had Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings, and James Jones so it wasn't like Rodgers had no targets.
The Steelers also lost Emmanuel Sanders in the first half to injury.

Oh I see, now we are putting parameters on when the players got injured so as to "count?" OK, there, whatever you like. So if players got injured early in the season, they don't really count as injured?

Absolutely they count. And if we are saying that they battled through injuries to make it to the Super Bowl, that I can get on board with. My statement simply meant that they didn't battle through a bunch of injuries in the actual Super Bowl game which I thought was implied through this discussion. If I missed the mark, my bad.

Even you would have to admit that an injury in week one, four, or five is a heck of a lot easier to replace than an injury in the first half of the Super Bowl. Yeah?
