Apparently re-tweaked his hamstring and has been ruled out tomorrow. I’m starting to worry about this guy’s injury history. Multiple concussions and recurring soft tissue injuries are troublesome. I hope it’s unfounded worry.

It was a jab at Goldbunny for calling BBH an a-hole for his joke about Watt being out. Come on man, keep up!

This isn't good, but DJ returning should more than offset the loss of Muth. They don't throw to him anyway

Muth’s injury history is becoming so troublesome, it deserves its own thread/discussion. I’m really starting to grow increasingly concerned about it and was interested in others’ opinions. Maybe they can talk me off the ledge.

Not a positive sign for him getting a contract extension. Signed through 2024.
Hopefully he can come back healthy but he has disappeared in this complicated offensive scheme

The needs just keep cropping up for next years draft already.

That's too bad, the "ignore" button works wonders.

I thought of Bennie Cunningham and looked up his career. Different time, surrounded by 2 HOF WR, taken in the first round, but just never was utilized for the freakish talents he seemed to have. For Muth staying healthy is of course paramount for production and a payday, but it just seems the things they ask him to do are not utilizing his potential.

Another report says Muth is "out longterm". I'll count him as a zero for the rest of the season even if he does comeback later. What a disappointment this guy has been. But hey, he had his silly grilling with Muth and Gentry" show. Guy's a clown. I thought we were getting a dog that was all business.

That’s okay, it’ll give Tomlin and Canada an opportunity to get Mt. Washington on the field more and not use him.

Oh, it appears we got a "dog," just not the right kind of one like you were thinking of. It wouldn't surprise me one bit if he flowered with his next team though - a team that knew how to use him within his skill range.

How friggin' high or low can one person be? You sound genuinely mad at the dude because he's oft-injured. He may be considered somewhat of a bust or at the very least, a let down but a clown? Ridiculous.

They put Freiermuth on IR, so he is out until at least Week 10. Taking him over Creed Humphrey looked like a mistake at the time. In hindsight, it just keeps looking worse and worse.

This is a big problem going forward. Washington is very limited as a receiver and Heyward isn't really a true tight end. Williams isn't anything special, either.

Some people are just injury prone, case in point Ladarius Green.

I’m on the ledge and have one leg hanging over now.

I’ve seen it over and over again. Players with promising careers just can’t seem to stay healthy and others never seem to be hurt. Maybe genetics has something to do with it, I don’t know. At this point it appears that Muth is going to be one of those “can’t make the club in the tub” guys. It’s a shame too because there’s some real talent there. I’m not sure why the Steelers haven’t grabbed Gentry off the Bengals PS at this point.
