My post in another thread made me think about this.

My girlfriend hates Sundays - because the Steelers may lose, especially this year.

My wife is very used to it by now. My kids just accept it and my dog is just as pissed as I am. (At least I hope so).

It honestly doesnt affect me. When its over, it's over. There's nothing I can do about it. It's just entertainment to me.

My wife just asked me, "what's everyone talking about on the message board?" I told her its about evenly divided between the depressed and the pissed off :/

A Steelers loss can drastically affect my relationship with....umm....me...myself, and I :)

Being single has it's advantages I guess, heh.

Good thing the season ended today, or I might be single by early January.

My dog usually goes to the other room anyway, win or lose. Apparently I'm a little loud when they play like crap! Hmmm, got to work on that!

Yep!!! I texted my gf after the game, and said, Hell yeah, I`m pissed, but., I am tryin to focus on what REALLY matters... you... T-bone steaks, you`re gonna make on the grill tonight, and x-mas, comin up in a cupl days...
But, DO NOT **** with me tonight, cause I`m in a bad mood tonight.
She don`t really understand, because she ain`t into football...
    Doesn`t have a "Favorite team"....
But she has seen me come home in a bad mood before, after a loss, and has helped me understand what is important...
Yinz can call me a pussy, all you want.
I still have my team`s logo tattooed over my heart, and this loss made me wanna puke...
But my girl is more important to me than this "football" team, that played with no heart on the offensive side of the ball(except Heath, who got hurt, givin it his all)...
This is a painful loss, to swallow(like they all are).... \
But, honestly, this team (at least on offense), never gave me a reason to belierve that it woukld be in differnt next week, or that they had any heart(HGeath excluded)...
I kinda expected to lose today, was just hoping they would prove me wrong...
Can`t believe we can`t get the job done, with the talent we have...

Could easily go into a funk, or have a tantrum,
But my girl doesn`t deserve that, over a buncha spoiled brat multi muillionaires, who obvuiously couldn`t give a **** whether they win or lose...
(troy, and Heath, excluded, Because the look on Troy`s face today was almost as painful as losing the game.
    You could tell he cared...
He gave it his all, and I wish i could say that about more of our players, besides Heath...
Tomlin oughta re-think this "runningback by comittee" approach, too...
All those guys looked like they were givin it their all, and would have benefited from more chances to run the ball...
    JMO...
Fu.... Season`s over... Hope they find sumkinda pride, or reason, to beat the Clowns in a meaningless game, next week...
    I will still be watching/hoping/cheering...
Hard to really care about a team that`s shown no heart all year long, tho...when they have had PLENTY of chances to get back to the Bowl!!!

I am depressed for hours after a Steelers loss. Friends and family have learned not to talk to me for a while.

My poor dog name is steeler he is a black lab and just hauls ass to the other room as soon as the game gets dicey.

My wife is not an NFL fan. BUT she tells everyone that she wants us to win EVERY game because I am NOT a fun guy to live with when we are losing. I sorta just huff and puff and wanna go downstairs and then my wife says "well maybe if they'd done this or that" and I'm like "YES! I KNOW THAT! WHY DO YOU THINK I AM SO MAD!?" My wife is a real saint for putting up with my love for this team actually. lol. She knows how I feel though. She's a Vols fan.

My husband usually watches the game downstairs away from me and my two sisters. Today we stupidly planned my moms birthday party for today @ 430....

That's how it is at our house too. I get much madder than my hubby. Our three kids know to stay away from me when the men of steel lose. Sometimes I think the team needs a woman down there to chew their butts out! My kids even bought me an NFL vest last year for Christmas that said coach on it. Not that I know that much about football, but I do know how to yell and motivate people. hahaha

Got my vote. Maybe instead of cheerleaders we need a bunch of mad women on the sidelines screaming in players ears.

I've watched every game in my steeler history in it's entirety. Today, I turned it on. Saw the pick 6. Stuck with it. Saw the drive. Saw the missed field goal.

And went to take a nap. Figured if I slept through it we'd win.

Woke up to a loss, and a Baltimore win.

    Merry Christmas.
