I don't even know who this "Foster" poster is. As a matter of fact, I am willing to wager on it. How about placing $ on your lame assertion? I bet $1,000 I am not the former poster you claim I am. @Silverback - If I were to offer my perspective it would be -

The quoted post captures the issue some might have with the nature of your messages. You skip past other people’s points and continue to hammer on your point. A good conversation is a two way street with point, counter-point, evolving discussion.

In addition, as was mentioned, you have started a bunch of threads with the same underlying point. You could stay with one or two threads and make your points in there.

 

Not “we” just “you”

 

There's a productive suggestion. I'm sure there are a bunch of third parties that have nothing else better to do than get involved with your lame ass identity.

Look, we know you've been here before, be it FosterMorris, MadDog, whatever. It's the internet; you can hide behind whatever handle you want, but what's behind it hasn't changed. That's where you miss the point. I couldn't care less who you were if you happened to come back and conduct yourself with some maturity and showed respect to the other members here - most of whom have been around here a lot longer than you. But you're not about that.

So it doesn't matter who you want to say you are/aren't, been here before/not, etc. You're filling the role of attention-seeking troll of others that were eventually shown the door in order to foster(!) a passionate, but productive, environment for all members.

So like I said, stop acting like a stupid ******* or find someplace else. Simple as that.

 

TBH a normal team would have released him after he lost the job last season. A patient team would've signed Sims and had Gunner compete with him for a return spot. We however... still retain him? It is definitely frustrating to see the personnel decisions made by this team/coach consistently over the years. I get sometimes people have favorite "unsung heroes" that they prefer over starters that makes us emotional in our takes, and that in the end the coaches really do know more than us fans do... However, it is still frustrating to see someone who has been a total liability nearly every time he has touched the ball in a Steelers uniform continue to stick around. He wasn't a high draft pick, he isn't a highly paid FA that we have to answer for missing on. He's a guy we signed with an All Pro past we signed that didn't work out. Oh well.

Dude has been credited with 20 total touches (as a returner and receiver) as a Steeler and has fumbled 4 of them. 20% Of the time he touches it he coughs it up. For reference that fumble percentage put on Najee Harris would account for 152 fumbles for his time in Pittsburgh (nearly 4 per game). He needs to go.

But I would be remiss if I didn't mention how this same team - a team who has retained Gunner for no apparent, real reason - has chosen to bring back an OC who has set records for futility and incompetence. Talk about a team who makes poor decisions. But this team has fallen in love with complacency and non-action and it sure shows, all over the facility and team. And their excuse for bringing back Gunner: He sure is up to the task as a blocker on jet sweeps. No, I didn't make that up.

Are you out east yet? I expect some culinary reports. Too much of my time has been spent in the midwest with others that don't appreciate good seafood. (A few notable exceptions.)

I'll have to keep my four-legged partner away from any oceanside pics. He's seen of few of the great lakes, but might get a little jealous of the big blue lake out east.

 

I live in the Midwest and very much appreciate good seafood. I mean, there's not much around here in the way of "good" so I guess what I'm really saying is that I appreciate mediocre seafood.

 

I hear you. I was raised in the midwest and it so happened neither of my parents liked seafood. My running joke has been their idea of exotic seafood was called Mrs. Paul's during lent.

When I grew older I branched out on my own in experimentation. Still try and get them to try something new when I visit, but it's hard going.

Jeez, you guys sure do a lot of bickering in this forum. It makes looking through threads very frustrating. It's like every thread gets clogged up with y'all's constant picking at each other.
