Why would we do that? I think Kenny plays way better in the 4th quarter than he does quarters 1-3. The question is why can the Steelers offense not seem to get anything going the first three quarters? It’s almost like the defense knows what’s coming.

What did those numbers look like in 2022? I would think that they’d be pretty strong in the 4th quarter the second half of the season.

That is very telling on how Shanahans's offense craates confusion in the defense, hence "guys wide open". Defenses get confused and coverage mistakes happen. As for Purdy, the knowledgable QB's in the media say he is clearly showing advanced processing speed vs most QB's in their second season. Probably the same thing Brady had, the game was slow to them and they could quickly read and make progressions if necessary. Someone has to come up with a mental test to identify that. it will happens some day.

No I seen it. I'm just saying if a Qb doesn't see the wide open target.....it matters nothing. This was Bradys strength....not His arm, or his foot speed, but the ability to scan the field quickly, and see the open Guys.

And a relentless work ethic to improve. First guy on practice field and last guy off!! I hate the guy but respect that work ethic all day and every day!!

I'm just talking about plays like in this video....it was like a classic layup, I mean c'mon...And the 49ers receiver are so often open, the margin of error is much bigger...Every QB can miss some wide open guy too

I think Kenny has the relentless work ethic and strong desire to improve. It’s been said about him that he’s the first at practice and the last to leave. His ability to scan the field and find the open receiver needs a lot of work. Hopefully his persistence in the former will lead to good results in the latter.

Purdy looks human today against a pretty good Cleveland defense.

Missing open receivers as well which is uncharacteristic of him to this point.

You mean the Shanahan coaching up didn't help against the Browns???we had more yards, and more points against the Browns. Hell 49ers got beat by a Qb that threw 2int, and no tds

So why did they have less yards, and points against the Browns than We did??? Where was the Shanahan magic???....or did He not have then ready to play like a lot of people say Tomlin does???

The Browns defense are the best in the league in the NFL right now.....And the steelers had 2 defensive TD in that game vs Cleveland...And I never said that Shanahan was to win every game....The 49ers receiver was not wide open as this is often the case and Purdy was bad because of that

The Browns defense is a another example that coaching matter big time....Difference DC this year for the browns and the difference is night and day compared to their garbage defense last year

Like I said in my previous post, the browns defense are great

Before this game, the 49ers offense had 30 points or more in every game this year....Every team can have bad game but bad game for the steelers offense happen almost every game since 2021

We still had more yards, and tds....then the 49ers had. Also when we played them their Qb actually scored a td. Today's Browns Qb only threw ints.

Yes.....yes, but against the Browns we actually looked better than the 49ers did, and we had to actually face their starting Qb....not the backup, and the starting RB.

Having 2 major weapons out of the game didn't help but the plays were there. Purdy didn't make them. Browns defense is legit.

You said it . I didn't , and I never would.....I said what I hear everyone else say weekly. We beat two teams that the top NFC teams lost to today. I guess Shanahan , and P. Carol didn't have their teams prepared. One team. Sorry. My mess up

Ok. Didn't We just beat that team without DJ, and Heyward???
All I'm saying is two of the top NFC teams just lost to two teams in the AFCN that we already beat. So just maybe Shanahan , and P. Carroll didn't have them prepared. Isn't that what most say when We lose???
My bad One of the teams We just beat. I got Who they all played mixed in My head

    -Cleveland defense
    -top two weapons lost
    - Wet ball/Purdy didn't play well

Those are the reasons San Fran lost. I'm not speaking to the preparation of them or the Seahawks because I don't know, or care. The Sea Chickens lost because Geno Smith couldn't get rid of the ball. They had their chances in that one as well.
