I was at a township meeting and a guy about 80 walked in using a walker

Someone else asked if he had been out hunting yet and he said it’s not cold enough but he did say he had his tree stand up

No. I am definitely one of those who mentions how slow Rooney/Steelers are in reacting to things, but even Art won't fail to move and remove Canada after this fiasco, a fiasco HE created. There is no way in hell that Canada isn't replaced by 2024.

I can't see a full-blown deer hunting adventure just a week after knee replacement. Or do you mean a week after the 4 weeks?

Amazing the pain you'll deal with when doing something you enjoy. At work? Not so much.

To me, it's part of the experience. Almost every game I have ever been to I see two drunks arguing over who has been a Steelers fan longer. Chanting, complaining, booing.......It's all part of attending just about any sporting event anywhere. It doesn't bother me at all, but that's just me. You have to realize the people you are talking about paid for their tickets too.

The fans are being fans. ARII may be too cheap when it comes to hiring coaches or he isn't holding Tomlin accountable for the coaches he selects. Yes, I am spoiled as a Steelers fan, but if I can't expect better or have to accept less, then it is on the organization.

People need to realize the defenses can catch up with offenses. We are 3-2. In first place. 2-0 in our division. I remember when the West coast offense came in and everyone thought it would be the greatest thing ever and defenses were just outclassed. Well defenses caught up with it. Look at the chiefs last night. Barely beating the broncos. Should they fire the OC? We lost to two good defenses. We beat two division rivals in which those games are always tight. We beat a team on the road that has always given us fits. I think it is a little over blown at times.

I was at this game as well and it sounds like our experience was much different. Everyone I was around was very optimistic. Yes we heard the boos (this happens at any sporting event, even high school games) also heard the fire Canada chants often and they were well warranted. Just because other fans don’t view things like you do doesn’t mean they are clowns, they are just passionate about Steelers football.

I will say this, being there the game really never felt bad, it never felt out of reach, although I thought for sure it was over when Gunner fumbled.

I know our offense is HORRIBLE, however seeing it live it didn’t look as bad as it looks on tv. I thought it looked like KFP had more time and space in the pocket and his throws didn’t seem off as much on passes. However when I got home and watched on TV our offense looked as bad as it was any other week. I don’t know it is hard to explain.

we were in the 511 section, row J, right at the 50 yard line and it was an absolutely perfect place to be, you could see everything unfold. It was perfect when the sun was out, but once the clouds came it was a bit chilly, but it was a perfect Sunday afternoon.

Are you seriously going to tell me that people should be pleased with the state of the team? That no one has any cause for concern, worry, frustration, or impatience?

You're more stoic, perhaps, than the average fan. That doesn't mean they're wrong. It doesn't mean you're wrong. It's just different means of expressing your thoughts and feelings.

Canada (and the front office by extension) deserves every boo he/they get. It's not an expression of "do this now!" It's not even an expression of disdain. At this point, it's, "I told you so." And acting surprised at people expressing their displeasure at subpar performance? Are you new to fandom? Sports in general?

Part of the fun, excitement, and joy of being a fan is the ride of emotions. Those emotions aren't always positive. But lows make the highs even better. And fans letting off steam is no reflection on their loyalty. Sure, sometimes the anger is going overboard. And some people are never happy. But that doesn't make you a better fan. They're just having their own brand of fun being a fan. There's no law saying that being a fan requires rose tinted glasses, and wild optimism.

    But you do you.

It's never as good as you think it is or as bad as they say it is. Learned that along time ago. The real problem is there are an inordinate amount of people that yell and carry on and have no clue. That is the root cause of bad fandom if you ask me. There is a great deal wrong with the organization which I stated in my initial post but OMG the idiocy is sometimes just too much to handle. Calling plays behind me and being wrong yet never shutting their GD mouth is frustrating as hell. Armchair QBs don't impress me. I have been a fan for 50 years and would never utter the nonsense that comes from the mouths of these clowns.

    WTF

It's an awful argument your comparison with the chiefs that I don't know where to start.I mean you compare the chiefs which despite their average game yesterday make the AFC Title Game every year since 2018 and win 2 Super Bowl vs a Steelers team which have not won a Playoff Game since 2016, which have an garbage offense since 2021 with no sign that it will change soon.I mean c'mon

Our 3-2 record is so misleading ... In fact our record of 21-17-1 since 2021 is so misleading since the Steelers have been horrible but they have won almost every close games since that time, which is the reason why our record is not bad but that does not mean that we can not be frustrated since this is innacceptable that Canada is still with us and Tomlin or ARIII deserves all the heat on that

I feel that muscle juice (alcohol) is a proponent. I have been to several games and never had an issue when it was Three Rivers Stadium. Heinz Field was another matter. When you pay $300 or so and all you hear are squawks over and over I would venture a guess its some alcohol fueled individual who doesn't know how to act in public. Not making up excuses for nit wits. I am going to the Patriots game in December which has been a while since I have been to the stadium. Last time was in 2016 against the Chiefs. We rolled them 43-14. Took my son and nephew who are Chiefs fans and there were these idiots in front of us standing up and shouting at my kid and nephew not even paying attention to the game all messed up. I was ready to blast one of them and said you best turn around and STFU and to watch the game @sshole. Paid $300 for each ticket on the south end 10 seats up.

I agree, it's fine to vent.
I don't think fans should be calling for another person's job. Winning is always better than losing.

I have stayed away from the board for almost two weeks since the beat down in Houston. I just wanted to let the negative kinda settle. I have watched football seriously since Cohwer's introductory press conference and have witnessed some bad games, bad losses, some real horrible players but until that Sunday in Houston I've never watched such ineptitude from a Steelers team. In 30 + years never have I watched a team so unprepared, unfocused, and horrid as that days product. The starting runningback took the handoff and ran head first into the Mountain as he motioned across the formation. Heyward looked right at the defender getting a clean break off the snap on a designed rollout and instead of hustling to try and slow the guy down he just releases into the flat. It was his responsibility to chip the defender coming off the edge and Pickett paid the price. Lest we think it was all on the offense let me tell you how stupid Tomlin and Austin were for not attacking a patchwork OL that featured Green and a guy at tackle who had never had a single snap until that game. The coaching staff made that line look like the 2nd coming of the Hogs. How do you not plan to attack that guy all game long? I was never a Hilton fan but cheese&rice put your Nickel or slot corner in there and blitz both Highsmith and the DB everytime because it would force them to max protect with dbl TE's or let TJ go one on one. Worst game I've watched in a long long time.

That being said if I was actually at a game I'd enjoy it and would save the bitching for the board after it.

I’m sick of this mess of a team lately too.
But dang you go to a game to have fun and enjoy yourself.
Nothing worse than some know it all complaining about the team all game long regardless of how bad they may be playing.
If you’re that upset with the product stay at home.
We went to a game back in 2014 and some Dick LeBeau looking old dude did nothing but complain until my buddy told him that if he hated the team that much then he would buy his season tickets. They guy said something sarcastic and my buddy told him to knock it off with the complaining or he would make him. Old guy never hardly said **** the rest of the game other than when he apologized.
