Are you sure? You really seem to cry a lot about other fans who express their opinions.

Yikes. Sounds like fansville where they burn the jerseys and knock all the drinks off the table.............after the first play.

We’ve got some things to build on for sure. But until the offense is able to resemble a somewhat competent NFL offense, we can only go so far. It’s unbelievable that Matt Canada is still at the helm and whoever is responsible for keeping him in place (my guess is Tomlin) should be held accountable. I appreciate loyalty to a certain degree, but the Steelers have gone way overboard in their loyalty to Canada.

Don’t mean to rain on your parade and I appreciate your optimism. I would share it wholeheartedly if the Steelers would make some real moves to improve the offense.

Argument to be made that Josh Allen was never ever going to get there after his first 16 (give our take) games. With a completion percentage in the mid 50s and about equal tds to ints.
Just saying, I wish I had the foresight many folks do to flush potential down the shi$$er.

these are always the reasons why we won't compete at the highest levels - we are led by nincompoops

The optimism is high with him and that's honorable, and I hope to eating dirt if the team suddenly evolves into the explosive juggernaut he imagines with the return of a guy who had 0 td's last year and a TE who they cannot seem to use properly. I'm not even blaming them as they are exceptional players. As one guy mentioned he is at glass half full, I think most of us had the OP's optimism after preseason, looking forward to seeing a productive O. Being 3-2 is what it is, we just as easily could be 1-4..or even 0-5. at this point in the season you expect to have your identity on both O and D, we have neither. Injuries or not, we are a mess and to say otherwise is delusional. while someone stated the schedule looks favorable, what team will show up? The one who who allowed a Rookie QB with a broken line to eat us up, or the one who won a game after the other team had 3 drops that could have been TD's? Crap like that happens, sometimes you get lucky and squeak out games, especially against divisional opponents, we certainly can win enough and get into the playoffs, but the way we have played we can also lose more than we win, that is the reality of where we sit.

Having an honest critique does not make one negative, or less of a fan. I hope and always desire for my team to win, play well, and individuals to do well, but also know going into each game we fundamentally suck in many phases of the game, if one's optimism hides that truth I have old lottery tickets that one day might have a winning number on them, you are welcome to hope over them.

Goldbunny???? For some reason i just spat my coffee all over my shirt when I read that. That's OK. My discount at work covers shirts at 50%, and work shirts for free!! I was wearing a work shirt on my day off, so the coffee laugh damage is covered, lol

Think you are on to something (nit like it is rocket science), but I read a FB or X comment yesterday on some 49 rant. It stated the success they are having after losing many of their coach's and coordinators over the years. Without looking it up I thought of the Rams, 49's, Eagles...not even knowing how the others who left have done, but seeing how the teams are doing now. The Rams were supposedly going to be trash, and while they are not great, they are at least competitive. The other teams speak for themselves, the top level does it right.

bottom line -- however one spins it...the Steelers defense held the Ravens to nothing in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th quarter. Word.

I just try to enjoy the roller coaster ride. Right now, I'm satisfied with 3-2 taking into account their offensive deficiencies and their defensive lapses. Just hope we are sitting here in a couple of months discussing their overall improvement.

When Josh Allen finished his first 16 games he was 23 yrs old.

When Josh Allen was exactly the age that Kenny Pickett is right now, He had thrown 74 TD passes, had rushed for 25 more, had a record of 30-16, had been to a ProBowl and played in 4 playoff games.

Josh Allen is 2 yrs older than Pickett. Two years ago nobody was talking about his potential.

When Pickett was drafted his extended college experience was considered a plus, he was pro ready, minimal development required. To compare him at 25 to guys who their development as 22 or 23 yr olds in the NFL, does not speak highly of his progress,

When someone that likes to smart off to people while hiding in anonymity is ignored and they get mad about it, it only confirms that they were exactly who you thought they were. They can't control themselves and get especially agitated when the people they are trying to agitate don't give them the time of day. You'd think they'd grow up, but again.........they can't control themselves.
