The ravens had us whooped in the first half. But whatever halftime adjustments happened, Tomlin outcoached Harbaugh in the second half.
    This one goes to Tomlin

It wasn’t halftime adjustments, started in the second quarter. Hairball knew he needed more points, Tis why he went for it instead of kicking the field goal.

Probably, but I think the main reason we won was they were more inept than us.

I would agree to an extent.

However, when Harbaugh's pass catchers literally drop 8 passes, three of which that could have gone for touchdowns, it does make the game planning a bit more simplistic for Tomlin. Tomlin does deserve credit for capitalizing on Harbaughs mistakes.

If Tomlin would have made the same idiotic decisions yesterday that Harbaugh made, he would have been chased out of town with torches and pitchforks.

To be fair when the Steelers have dropped passes and played sloppy, it’s usually blamed on Tomlin not having his team prepared.

    This is true.

Hell, Tomlin is still taking heat for keeping that OC who shall not be named on the roster still. Even so, Tomlin, somehow, someway, found a way to win.

Look, I want Tomlin gone just like everybody else. But I’m also not gonna be a freaking idiot about it. If he does good, he deserves credit.

    Agreed.

Me personally?! I am celebrating the win; much more so now that the Bye Week is upon us!! Gonna stink for not having Steelers Football for a Week but you know me!! I have a plethora of College Players to Scout and cannot wait to do so come Saturday!

I will be very pre-occupied with that. Sunday's games will also be of importance to see whether or not any of the Steelers AFC North Rivals can make up ground. Between me and you, having the Bengals lose to the Seahawks would be very ideal. Granted, having the likes of Cleveland lose to San Fran would also be good as well. That said, given how tremendous Kyle Shanahan and that Offense looks... I doubt that is going to be much of a problem; DeShaun Watson or otherwise.

I can agree with the dropped passes, but you have to give the defense some credit for a job well done.

    - Watt had two sacks and a fumble recovery
    - Highsmith had a bunch of pressures and strip sack
    - Dline with a heads up punch-out fumble.
    - Porter box out and pick
    - Edit - forgot the blocked punt

I'll take the win. But I'm not pretending we played well. Conservatively it should've been 17-3 at the half and should've been 20-3 part way through the 3rd - drastically diff scenario. That's before the blocked punt etc. Again a win is a win in the NFL...but the Steelers dodged a bullet. Some days it's better to be lucky than good...yesterday was one of those days.

The hope is the offense can use the bye and get there stuff together and look more like the last TD drive and less like the first 55 minutes of yesterday's game.

That’s funny. The Rats made way more mistakes or it wouldn’t have even been close. Two dropped TD’s or it would have been a blow out.

You’re right…Tomlin was less bad than Harbaugh. He even won a challenge…sort of. ;)

But credit where credit is due. Defense and special teams picked it up big time in th second half and apparently they are now allowing Kenny some leeway to audible at the line. Maybe Tomlin stepped in and made that decision.

Don’t those mistakes tie into coaching? Our mistakes are pretty much always blamed on Tomlin. Are they not?

The Raven's board was very entertaining! They were apoplectic! However, they all want us to keep Canada...so in a weird way, we agree with Raven's fans...Canada sucks.

Maybe Tomlin told the team at Halftime to not make mistakes and Harbugh forgot? hehe

Wait, how should we juxtapose this with the posts stating how horrible and overrated Harbaugh is as a head coach? I'm so confused.

I've seen Harbaugh make some bonehead calls over the years, maybe even more than Tomlin. If there's one guy that Tomlin could out coach, it would be Harbaugh. Lol

Yeah Ravens dropped passes and Kenny doesnt see wide open receivers, whats your point?

The team that makes more plays wins. Steelers made more.

The narrative that Baltimore lost the game vs Steelers winning it because of dropped passes is total BS.

The refs called a terrible game. Highsmith had a great sack wiped away by a BS call against Minkah. Yet, Pickens gets interfered with in the end zone by Maulet and no call.

Beyond that, Steelers forced turnovers and blocked a punt. They earned it with smash mouth football, Pittsburgh style!

Tomlin doesn’t “OUT COACH” anyone, please stop with the nonsense! The RATBIRDS lost the game for 2 reasons - Lamar at QB and dropped passes, I think at least 6-8 passes. By the end of the 3rd Quarter RATBIRDS should have had 24 points.

I blame Tomlin for a lot of things but dropping perfectly thrown passes that would have been TD’s is all on the players. Idiot Hairball not kicking an easy FG is a head scratcher and it probably got him in the backside as the game went on. I’m sure Rats fans are po’d today.

Normally I don't partake in the "the refs were crooked" type of banter. But those calls were blatant.

The D having pads practices made the Ravens receivers nervous.
