Yea I mean anyone watching the game could see until that last TD drive how awful the offense and KP looked as well as all the dropped passes Bmore had. Our hope has to be they get healthier over the bye and Kenny finds some confidence from this win. Need DJ back badly on offense. He would be another threat to complement Pickens right now we don’t have that.

 

A win is a win and we get a stress free bye week. All good

 

Lately the bye week is my favorite week during the Steelers season!

 

The bye is scary for me. The Steelers had 17 days off from their last preseason game until their game vs. SF. But Tomlin is 11-4 coming off a bye week.

 

I don't think any of the other AFC teams would want to face any of the 4 AFC north teams come January.Now granted many things can happen between now and then
But I like the way they play in the AFC north. These teams can travel well.

 

Yea I’m sure a team like Buffalo KC Miami or Jacksonville would hate to play our offense

I think you are remembering the 1997 divisional playoff game against the Patriots, which the Steelers won 7-3. Mike Vrabel made a big sack to clinch the game for the Steelers.

 

It was a game against the Jets. Our offense was snuffed. Then next week we got stomped by the Pats. Ben could not keep up. This was early in Ben`s career.

I`m too lazy to look it up.

 

That was in 2004, and the Steelers won 20-17 in overtime after the Jets missed 2 potentially game winning field goals (it's known to Jets fans as the "Doug Brien" game). It was Ben's rookie year. The Jets offense did not score a TD- one was on a punt return and the other a pick 6. The Steelers were pretty lucky that day.

I think that was the 15-1 year when Ben first came in when Maddox was hurt I believe week 2 vs Baltimore?? That was such a disappointing game and if that kicker hits either chip shot we don’t even make the AFC Championship game (in which we were stomped by NE)

 

And nothing can bring me down next couple of week including anybody from the board!!!! Will rest easy for now.

The Steelers are now 30th in yards in offense and defense but they are 3-2 and in the first place...It's so comical!
