Canada seems genuinely upset when the Steelers scored the game winning td.

 

He will keep his job because the same people that are ok with a coach that has never had a losing season, while ignoring a total lack of playoff wins, will be happy with a win and ignore how pathetic the offense really was.

 

I hope it was because it was not him who was calling this play!

 

Thank God the Ravens played a sloppy game. Nothing I saw in this game says the Steelers are back.

Going into this game, the offense was averaging 12.5 points per game.

 

The Steelers win .........and then there's this downer thread just drawing in all the nagging Nancy's. I'll take a win like this against Ravens any day of the week/month/year. Imagine the long flight home across the pond for the BuffBills.

 

I'll take a win over the Ravens too, of course, but we can't ignore that this game was lost by the Ravens not won by the Steelers. Ravens receivers dropped two touchdown passes today and a pretty important pass late in the game. If we're being honest, this game probably should have been at least 20-3 at half.

Sorry if a realistic opinion on today's game is considered a "downer" for you, but then you're probably one of the people ok with never having a losing season even though Tomlin has won only 3 playoff games in the last 12 years.

Nobody is saying they are the '78 Steelers. Everyone is just trying to enjoy a big win against a hated rival.

We can acknowledge that they didn't play great, identify the mistakes and what can be done better, but still enjoy a win. It is possible to do both.

Complaining about it in every post all of us make isn't healthy nor does it make anyone a better fan or accomplish anything.

Agreed. I know that's the nature of the game sometimes but certainly can't rely on that. Many dropped passes helped crush the ravens momentum and Lamarrs confidence and the defense played good enough at times to get it done. The offense not sustaining drives will result in more defensive injuries and we can't afford too many of those.

Yeah Because Lamar Jackson has been so great against the Steelers.
He is now 4td, 7int, 7 fumbles, and one win in overtime against Duck Hodges against the Steelers, but I bet He has a Higher Qb rating. LoL
