The Steelers defense needs a start like they had against the Browns. A strip sack and a TD on the Ravens first possession or a big interception return. The Steelers can't win without forcing at least 3 turnovers and getting at least 3 sacks.

Yet it (the stat)still makes no sense, and people here would be excited if KFP threw 22 td, and only 10 ints. Our Qbs added together in 21 games haven't thrown for that many tds, and have thrown more ints than Ben did in His last year.

They absolutely could win and in alot of ways wouldn't surprise me if they did. I was shocked quite a few times last year on some of the wins we eeked out considering how poor the coaching and gameplan is and has been. The players played their butts off at a clear strategic disadvantage to keep tomlins no losing record in tact for him. Which shows that they do like him but it's not serving them or the fans at the moment nor has it for a while. I've said for years that ben kept them afloat and competitive at times and when he leaves unless we got a rookie sensation in the way he was tomlins ineptness would be laid bare. Fought the urge to feel that way at first but I'm a realist that couldn't deny what his eyes saw week in and week out.

 

You're right about that. Ben's final year he threw for 22 TD's only 10 picks and had 3,740 yards, and everyone said that he sucked and it was time to retire. Yet if Kenny finished this season with the exact same stats, everyone would say that he has turned the corner and had an excellent year.
