IF Claypool is released by the Bears should the Steelers bring him back for free?

You are going to have a hard time convincing me Claypool would not be an immediate improvement over Gunner. And he would definitely remember Canada's 2 page playbook. :)

I said a while ago I thought Claypool was doing things to try and get out of Chicago.

    https://www.nfl.com/news/bears-trading-wr-chase-claypool-to-dolphins

Is it a coincidence? He was banned from team activities leading up to the trade, so........

Pretty funny that at the same time as the trade they break their 14-game losing streak, :lolol:

Fins gave up a 6th round pick for him, I wouldn't have risked trading a 6-pack of Pabst, warm at that.

One of Colbert's bigger flops - and he's had many. I know Claypool was not a 1st-round pick but he was our first pick overall that year (2020). If it wasn't for draftingting Highsmith that year, the entire draft would have been 100% worthless. The players we skipped to draft Claypool included Jalen Hurts, Trevon Diggs, Ezra Cleveland, AJ Dillon, et al.

I think these so called Colbert ( flops) has more Todo with Tomlin being more involved in the drafting process than anything else.. Tomlin can't evaluate talent

I agree, but you typically will get the Tomlin apologists come crashing through the ceiling tiles screaming "You can't prove that, you have no evidence that that is true!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" But there are far less Tomlin apologists screaming bloody murder these days.

There are two threads in two different forums covering Claypool's falling out with the Bears.

There is one in the General NFL Talk, and another here.

Suggestion: try looking around and reading more before posting.

Wait, where does JEH's fascinating details on his vacations go? They've been posted in here so far. Is that where they belong? Why doesn't a former Steeler player's status belong here? Is he not a former Steeler? But JEH's vacation details DO belong here? I missed where you chided him for posting those details here. Weird. Inconsistent.

I don't see it. A thread that is specifically talking about Chase Claypool traded to the Dolphins.

I wanted to post my thought on how I think it is going to be very interesting to see what Mike McDaniel's can get out of Claypool compared to Canada and who ever was calling the shots in Chicago.

I think Claypool is going to surprise a lot of people playing in McDaniel's offense.

Also, I think this thread belongs in the General NFL section as it is just about Claypool getting traded to the Dolphins from the Bears.

Well I don't know what Claypool will do....for he hates catching with His hands, and doesn't adjust to the ball well, but He will be going to the best Qb he has played with since playing with Ben.

I'm not concerned about this clown but the guy they acquired in the 2nd round because of him.

Puppet Austin: Well Joey is not quite ready yet. All the while cement shoes Peterson and toast Wallace continue to get burned. And they have not increased Porter Jrs snaps but decreased them.

Acceptable risk if you're miami.... with Hill and Waddle already on the outside and the only thing they gave up was a 6th rd pick and receiving a 7th rounder, they practically got him for free.. . His success will only make them stronger, while his failure doesn't negatively effect a thing

No trade can compare to Pete Carroll giving Russel Wilson to Denver in exchange for almost everything Denver gets for the next century......lol

    Fair!

That said, depending on how well Will Anderson and CJ Stroud turn out, the Watson trade could be worse. That said, we will have to wait and see.
