(Bleep) whatever Canada has to say, it's all meaningless at this point. He simply sucks, the only reason he ever got the job was because he gave Dino a scholarship at MD.

 

So what did he actually mean when he said they weren't built to come back from behind like that?

 

Sure, the broadcasters that both heard the same thing and talked about it openly misconstrued what he said. Right.

Well, when you hear stuff like this it is usually when someone is fearing the end is near. It sounds like there is some desperation in that statement.

Why doesn't someone in the press room ask Tomlin if Canada giving his son Dino a scholarship at Maryland, has anything to do with Tomlin not firing Canada... because that's the only conceivable reason why Canada still has a job in the NFL.

 

I believe he meant that his team's offensive line is unable to pass block once the defense can ignore the run and just go after the QB. They need to remain balanced so that his line can keep the QB up and protected.

Sadly, I disagree. I don't think they can keep the QB up even when they are balanced either. It's either the scheme, talent, or the QB not making adjustments at the line.

My guess is it's the scheme and the lack of a 2nd-year QB to make adjustments. In both cases, I blame Canada, but that's just my opinion.
