Obviously this schedule was set up before the logistics folks knew how this season would unfold. Anyhow, about 90% of US (when you include Alaska and Hawaii) will get to see the Steeler game live on CBS. What's weird is that there is a small patch in central CA around Fresno who will have to watch New Orleans at New England which makes absolutely no sense since it doesn't extend to Bay area or Vegas where there are other NFL teams. I get my CBS feed from LA which is shown to broadcast this game.

Hope Mitch likes a big audience.

as usual, I am not in the map.
Sometimes I can figure out a feed, but it is not consistent.
After that TERRIBLE Houston game I need a win over the Ratbirds. I WISH I were optimistic.

Sorry you're a 10%-er Mr. T. Never fails. By game's end though, we may be envying you. Too bad this isn't a prime time night game, Steelers never lose no matter what team or QB they trot out there! And no offense, but I'd prefer the Steelers get a win over the Ratbirds but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

The way I got myself to sleep last night (have sleeping issues) was dreaming about the defense stuffing the Ratbirds to the tune of an 8-5 win. I am that sick. What can I say? Ain't gonna lie.

On Monday I think there is no chance. By Wednesday I am thinking...if this happens, if that happens, the Steelers can WIN!

There is an opportunity to go into the off week with the division lead! Then I look to Canada and reach for the xanax.

Just checked and Fresno CA does have their own rather compact CBS affiliate and chose not to show Steeler game but rather the Patriots game. This is an agricultural/ranch region with lots of sheep so now I get why they want to show Bellichick's game - you know a Pater Familias sort of thing. :hmm:

Not to pour water on this, but TV stations could possibly change games as late as Friday. I currently get the game, but 90 miles away, CBS is showing Indy-TN. I hope that game does not creep into the St. Louis market.

Yes. I am literally just 30 miles away from getting this game. May be a short road trip to a sports bar.

Hmm - I thought you jumped on the YouTube bandwagon and were lamenting that 3 of the 1st 4 games were locally televised and the expense wasn't warranted? (now 4 of 5 for most of the US). Instead of Sunday Ticket (on DTV) I now use NFL+ (with Red Zone) as my backup - $99 to renew this year after they said in advance it would be $79. Love having the 10+ years of archived games as well as recent condensed games whenever I want to watch them (which in the case of the most recent game will be never).

Whatever happens, may the Force be with you. :emperor:

Not so sure I want most the country to get our game.

I bet Amazon just loves that match-up.

Im getting the game which is a positive. Close to the fridge, aspirin, food. This game is not making me over excited even as a divisional game.

Lets see if those padded practice changes work...

No ....not I. I was bragging that this is the 1st year I don't have NFL Sunday Ticket since 1997, and I haven't had to miss a game. Unless I come up with something before Sunday this will be My 1st.

The cutoff point for where I get to see a game or not is the end of my street. Turn right and another mile down. I’ve gone to friends houses right across the line to watch games before. I’m a long time subscriber to the NFL package and haven’t needed to do that in a long time. This year I bought YouTube to not miss Steelers games. This week it is local.

Living in farm country I’m well aware of the full time commitment of animals

My dairy farmer neighbors take a vacation every 5 years and their idea of not working on Sunday still includes milking 200 cows
