Trubisky is the exact same thing we've seen....can't read a d, afraid to go down field, and runs into sacks.
Even in Trubisky very best season in the NFL.....he was one of the worst passing down field.

That's exactly what Trubisky is...that's how KFP got his start. It's almost like starting the same Qb. You want to see a difference....there is only one Qb on this team that isn't afraid to push the ball, and Take a hit.

Correct. We have two problems. Perhaps a good QB coach and OC could help KFP along. He has a good arm and can move around as we have seen lol

This is Kenny’s team. If he can go, he should go. With MT we’re 2-3. With KP, you just never know.

I'd start Mitch whether Kenny can go or not. If they happen to win, then I'd leave Mitch start until he fails and history shows he will. What could it hurt for Kenny to hold the clipboard next week, then get a week off due to the bye?

Why is everyone afraid to have the only different Qb start....the one we know will push the ball???
The one we know won't bail out unless they are running.

Agreed. That's why I was thinking it wasn't that bad. Plus he was walking when leaving.

Ask Jimmy what is like a DE dropping their weight on you does. He is terrified of watt.

Id sit him just for the purpose of giving him a mental break. A different view from the sideline. Different film after the game. And most of all motivation that he needs to get his **** together.

it is also not unheard of to see a mediocre veteran come in and play his best ball because he’s older, wiser, and knows his nfl career is on the line . Mitch has to have a better understanding of the offense and how to read defenses. Not to mention if mitch can run the offense as it’s designed it will make the other players better. What is the downside? If mitch is that bad then fire canada or tomlin for sticking with a veteran to back up a 2nd year qb with huge question marks about his ability.

it could also confirm of this offense is worth a crap.

He's gotta play thought this. Needs more experience. If he is healthy, he's the guy you ride with.

Maybe Kenny is trying to look at the Jumbo-Tron behind him to see who is open; since his coaches are always showing him open guys on the TV Screen in their meetings. :)

Last year... What are you talking about? I saw Mitch throw what should have been an Int on the 2nd pass play last week.

This is a horrble pass to Pickens.

He actually had some decent performances after he was benched, with the exception being the second half against the Ravens.

We also had no running game at the start of the year. One reason KP was able to improve was that the run game stepped up considerably.

Bizarrely this season seems to have started much the same way.

Agreed, but Pickett has gone backward. Even when things were at their worst when he first took over, he showed toughness and confidence. He isn't showing much of either right now. I marked Blast's tinfoil hat theory as hilarious because only due to the bit about Pickett faking an injury to get out of the game. The rest of it fits what we've seen. Whether it was the scare of another concussion or his confidence taking a beating in the opener, Pickett doesn't look right. He has had a few moments. He hung in under pressure and delivered strong throws on the long touchdowns to Pickens and Austin, but too often, he hasn't done that. I know he doesn't trust his pass protection, but last year, he would have taken the hits to deliver the ball, anyway, far more consistently.

Maybe Kenny can spend some time looking at game film. Review all of the times he missed an open receiver because he was running around like a chicken with his head cut off.
