Just look at other teams back up QB's hell I've seen better HS Qb's suiting up on Friday nights.there is a large drain of QB talent nation wide. Get back to fundamentals / mechanics.

One of Pickett's biggest problems is bailing on the pocket, he drifts into sacks it looks like that's what happened on the play he got injured.

CJ stroud seems to be doing alright, it's early but he could be their franchise QB.

Again I ask, how would you like to be A Qb with a 300 pound DL
That can run a 4.6 forty that is trying to rip your head off.I guess I am
Disappointed in our OL play more than anything I have seen to date so far.

He is... but switch places and Stroud would be just as pathetic in Pittsburgh and Pickett would be much further along in his development in Houston. Mitigating circumstances matter and this staff has proven they cannot develop a QB or put him in a position to succeed.

He's still running into the sacks, he had the same problem in college, he has played enough games to correct that.

This, and Qbs can, and do make their OLs look better. Yesterday was a prime example.

Play calling I didn't get to see the game, but from the highlights it looked like Stroud was getting rid of the ball quickly.

OBs can easily make a OL look better. For instance KFP runs into trouble....just like Trubisky....you don't need a OL with them ....You need a freaking wall....if You notice CJ Stroud stepped away from trouble....past trouble, and seen the field, and rushers... There was many times if that was KFP on the other team.....We would have gotten many sacks.
I have complained about Hin not see who was coming , and running into trouble since last Year, and was laughed at.

Sure he is,KP is not playing well I acknowledge that but he isn't getting
Any help from a running game or his OL. Again I ask how do other team receivers
Run open freely and ours are always contested? I am waiting!

Who? An everyday person or one of the 32 people on the entire planet who are NFL starting QBs? It’s part of the job description.

Damn that is horrible news. ARII will let him play it out. So another year, because if he wouldn't eat Canada's salary for one year no way he's eating Tomlin's.

Sure they can but many of them need help. Explain how a marginal Purdy is so succesful

Agreed. And an offensive line that protects him. These are problems. His own inability to see what the defense is giving him is the biggest problem. Life would be so much easier for him if he helped himself.

Because He not marginal. He was picked in a league that has fallen into strong arm fast 40 time makes a good Qb. Again if 49ers could make any Qb look good they wouldn't have traded Jimmy G, and the Qb they spent 4 draft picks on away, and stuck with Purdy. Hell Purdy was coming off surgery, and they still rather had Him. That should tell You everything.

You guys assume because I get sick of listening to the same tired Tomlin complaints over and over that I’m some kind of Tomlin supporter.

To be honest, I have lost hope in Pickett but he has no favor from Canada...QB like Jalen Hurts or Stroud who are very good QBs would not be good under Matt Canada.....The game against Houston is the perfect example that coaching matters...I mean, the Texans had a depleted offensive line, but the coaching staff did a great job of making that o-line look good....This would never have happened for the Steelers. ..They were outcoached like crazy on Sunday
