The Bears are likely to get the first overall pick. They aren't trading away a shot at Williams.

Maybe we'll have a shot at Justin Fields then...maybe we could even bring him and Mapletron back as a package.

No and hell no. I'm just sick of the notion that the Steelers should have passed on Pickett to wait on Stroud. It wasn't realistic. They weren't bad enough to be picking No. 2 overall and the Texans weren't going to trade out of that spot.

I agree. I was as excited as Franco was when we picked Pickett. I saw a lot of things last year that really had me believing that he had what it took to develop into a franchise quarterback, or at least into a quarterback that could have the team competing in the post season. Pre-season HOF career notwithstanding, he has certainly regressed big time this year. Some of it is on him but I can't help believe that much of it is on coaching. The reason I feel that way is because it seems that EVERY offensive player we have has regressed this season. That is an indication of poor coaching. At any rate, I still hope the Steelers do the right thing and bring in a real offensive coordinator to work with Pickett. If he fails then, we cut our losses and move on.

I suppose he'd have trouble handling the shotgun snaps then...might be some turnovers.

Atta boy. Glenn is in. Do NOT accept an invite from Kathy Bates to stay with her in her country cabin.

The Standard is the Standard and that standard is misery and punishment for all Steeler fans via a horrible on field product and and a perpetual bottom 5 head coach. Yeah us!

someone needs to invent the Terrible Towel Paper Bag head cover. We should start wearing bags over our heads at the games and in public. We're still fans, but we're freaking embarrassed to be fans.

Had Trubisky played all year we would have been. No matter how bad KFP is playing.....he still was playing better than Trubisky did as a Steeler.

You are correct it's about coaching. 31 other coaches seen how We actually won last year, and said not this Year. It happens. Only the truly good adapt. We actually won by a great D, and running game last year, and a few throws By KFP, now they have said....OK....we take Your run game away....now what. I don't know why this is so hard for people to see

Everyone knows there is only one Qb left uninjured on this team that can back a D off the line of scrimmage, but problem is they don't want to be proven wrong...so they will pick a Qb that has one year of ok play, and Has many years of terrible play under 3 different OCs , and Head Coachs.
People will say well wouldn't the Steelers want to prove their OC is better so go with the other, and then You have to ask Yourself which do they want to prove they were wrong about.....the OC, or the 1st round Qb , and the Qb they paid to bring in. The OC is just one guy....while if Your 3rd string Qb comes in , and looks better....then it's not just the OC....it's two other choices that have been made. A 1st round pick, and a Qb they paid to bring in.

I'm not. You seen what he looked like last year with the same OC, same HC, and same team. Terrible. We need someone to go down field without fear, and even in Trubisky very best year as a Qb.....that has always been His weakness.

But Kenny has a pop gun arm. Ds don't worry about covering deep because they have no real worry to when defending Kenny and his pop gun arm. Sports guys were talking about it this AM. Kenny can't "push the ball" downfield. It was a mistake to draft him so high, but Art was worried about a repeat Marino scenario.

it will be quite the story if Mitch pitches a win, throws for 2 TD's and 250 yards - THAT is for sure!

but you are right. OLINE cannot pass block and we cannot establish a consistent ground game. Mitch is a TURNOVER MACHINE - i expect at least 2 INT's. He really does sucks. Always did.....

and most of us have more creativity in our pinky that Canaduh does i scheming an offense
