    Everything Dobbs ever did wrong was the fault of the five NFL coaching staffs that had him before this one. Everything Pickett does wrong is his fault even though he has the same head coach that screwed up Dobbs. Got it.

    What's his excuse for his first five years in the NFL and five organizations either trading him, cutting him loose, or both?

    Maybe the smart guys with some other limitations need a little patience. Hmmm. I wonder who else we might want to consider when we think about that lesson.

    Come on writer, you're smarter than that. Pickett was a 1st round pick and given the starting positon with the team built around him. Dobbs was a fill in running a make shift system that was not crafted for him. This chit ain't rocket science professor.

    many writers are stupid - both in sports and rest of all the other junk we read. smart ones are hard to find, you know that. and of course, we live in the world of 1984 - where History Revision runs amok
