    Are you nuts Rooney is scared of Tomlin he is just a yes man the only way positive change comes to this organization will and must come from the outside the old standard way is seriously not working how they don’t see that amazes me

    how about the first round debacle - got into that w a few last week.

    no way you move up like that, with all our needs - and then tell us later the guy is 'young and not NFL ready' - bull crap, if that is the case, then we whiffed in Rd. 1 - we have / had GREAT needs with that #1 pick. I am not interested in planning for 2024 and beyond right now.

    we made a mistake w Najee and are paying for it.

    What I expect him to do is fire both coordinators and hire 2 new ones with fresh ideas the Steelers way is not working and has not for a long time

    Steelers are soft and Tomlin is scared of his own shadow he plays not to lose I don’t know how he gets anyone to come play for him

    This team hasn’t had good coordinators since Haley and LeBeau. What do those two have in common, they were established and wouldn’t tolerate a coach that meddles too much. I think Tomlin has enormous input into what the offense and defense does.

    So even if they fire Canada, probably not much will change if they don’t bring in a very credible OC.

    Maybe some good can come from Muth being out. Hopefully Washington can step up and make an impact. I would love for nothing more than his supporters to be right and he’s the next big (pun intended) sensation at TE.

    LaPorta (whom I liked in the draft) is having a great rookie campaign. Start getting Washington involved, wont have a choice now.

    Khan made some good moves, but signing Peterson was a mistake. Maybe they had no shot to keep Sutton, but Peterson is done. You would hope that his experience would help cover for some of his lost speed, but he is making stupid mistakes, too. That's what happened on the halfback pass. He was fooled. Badly. It's an inexcusable mistake for a veteran with his experience.
