The fact that Canada was brought back is a joke. We sucked all last year on offense and had d bail them out. Bad decision. Tomlin can’t coach anymore. We waste all crap on a d that can’t stop a rookie qb on a bad team

 

Really won SBs did they? You can't sit hear and say playoff games , and SBs matter, and then throw out Qbs that never won them. Can't have it both ways. Believe Vick didn't even win a playoff game with A. Reid as a starter. Yes any Qb in the league can have a good year after enough time. That's what You want??

 

It doesn't feel like they do any scouting that makes it into a game specific plan. It's we're going to play what we play and hope our guys can make something happen.

Also, it's like he has motion just because other offenses use motion. Rarely do you see a check call to anything when motion is used.

Those run plays where you move the TE that could help block, away from the run side and have them do jack all backside are just telling the defense where to go! It's beyond asinine to keep doing it!

I mean it was well within reason to believe it was an aging QB especially since we saw the same problems with a couple OC’s
It’s clear now that these crappy coaches are the common denominators.

 

I can handle losses or down years, but when the team is not competitive it’s a dealbreaker.

 

I mean, you can be a great coach even when you don't win the super bowl....The minimum thing I ask for a coach is to not make your players look worse...Not hard to understand but that always been hard for you for some reason,unless it's intentional,which I think this is the case btw

Kenny's performance upon his return could likely change all of this. Remember that the team traded up for Broderick Jones. In addition, Andy Weidl hails from a very aggressive mindset from his days at both Baltimore and Philadelphia.


To say we will see back to back years for trading up is not out of the question. Again though, the biggest factor into the equation is whether or not Kenny can bounce back. If he can?! Take a blue chip or rock solid player. If not?! Head out to scout.

Everyone outside of Baltimore knows Lamar is just your typical running QB , who throws solely to his TE and gets outsmarted when playoff football comes around if he isn't injured...His style is great for fantasy stats during the regular season

 

Nailed it with your first sentence!!! This guy should never have been brought back.They won some games for sure, but never did this offense look even remotely explosive and every thing still came hard.Games they won they still had bad halfs, or stretches where they looked inept.

 

All Pickett has had is Canada so my thoughts are who knows what he could be with a real NFL offense

 

Of course Tomlin wanted him to stay, it's the old good buddy, quid pro quo favor system at work. Canada gave Tomlin's son the scholarship at MD after all.

 

We were down by a lot. It’s forth down and one and they go for it instead of kicking the FG. They go “Shotgun”!!! Stupid play call to say the least !!! This is Canada in a nutshell. Great players are made to look avg and Good players look bad when incompetent coaches guide the team.

Pickett, he had looked worse than we expected but remember the same stupid coaches running the game are the same ones running the practices all week and the same ones in the classroom and in the film room!!!

Also our OL has regressed , the rungame has gotten worse which leads Pickett to less time . The defenses this year have been on Pickett like white on rice so all these Wide open receivers he’s not throwing to is a myth. There may be a few but Everyone knows constant pressure on a QB changes the entire offense !!!
