Common denominator is Mike Tomlin. You keep looking at Big Ben, Kenny Pickett, every offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator. The common denominator in ill prepared Steelers teams is the guy in charge. We’ve seen these kind of games against rookie teams before.

He has not learned that adding options on 4th down makes the defense make mistakes,,, he lines up with an empty backfield.

TBH, if Tomlin is going to stand pat with this offensive game plan and not replace Canada, then I guess I’m finally onboard with the “fire tomlin” contingent

He’s going out throwing no matter if the guy is blanketed.

 

That play could end up costing the Steelers their season. I know Pickett hadn't been great, but if that is a season-ender, it's a disaster. The offense isn't going anywhere long term with Trubisky and there goes a season of truly finding out if Pickett can be the guy.

 

There is no reason to lay the blame on a single person. This team has a lot of issues that I don't think will be solved any time soon.
