Team is a joke and so is the cheerleader coach. Offense is like a high school team. Fire ever coach and gm and start over

Agree. Same start every week, with no sign of improvement.

We have a bottom 5 coach at every level (head coach and coordinators).

Isn’t his contract up at the end of the season? Let’s keep it that way. We can drop Canada and Austin as well while we’re at it. Wouldn’t mind seeing a complete overhaul of the coaching staff.

I think we are running clock out and punting like a coward to reduce loss deficit. Stupid.

    I love Mike Tomlin.

I hate winning playoff games and since we won't win another for the next 10-20 years (how can they fire a minority coach with the Rooney rule), my Januarys and Februarys will be free to pursue my bone-chilling outdoor activities.

    Be grateful.

(the above may have been tainted with some levels of sarcasm, make of it what you will).

BTW, this Dolphins/Bills game confirms how incompetent our ENTIRE offensive coach staff is. There are other bad staffs in the league, so their is an OUTSIDE chance we could regress if we FINALLY and MERCIFULLY fire Mike Tomlin. If the Rooneys stay conservative, you can kiss playoff football goodbye for a long time, no matter how good a job Omar Kahn does (and I think he did well year 1).

Yes, yes, Steelers are 2-1 entering today. They got manhandled by the only good team they've played. They remind no one of a team that could stay within 30 points of another playoff team. I hope we don't make it, to save us the embarrassment of getting shelled in late December, only to have to hear the endless "Mike Tomlin is one of the greats" from the broadcasters. At this point, I think its just fun for them to keep saying that and laughing till they can't breathe during commercial. It's a conspiracy to keep the out-of-touch Rooney family from seeing the truth, meant to keep the Steelers a laughing-stock.

Coaching matters big time in the NFL and it's crazy the difference in the schemes of the Steelers offense and the Texans offense which come from the 49ers....The Texans defense like almost every other good coaching teams in the NFL know what play is coming for the steelers offense

They just need another 18 or 19 weeks and they'll get this offense peeling off 100+yard games left and right. PATIENCE.

This team is stale and in need of big changes. We couldn't win with the triple B's, and have had a stale, non contender team ever since. Squeaking into the playoffs and getting destroyed in the first round doesn't mean ****. Time to move on from this coaching staff.

Are there really a lot of Tomlin lovers around here, or people that don't espouse hatred for the same shortcomings every week?

My guess would be the latter.

If we have to keep Tomlin, and I hope we do not, then do NOT let him pick his OC, QB, OL, WR or RB coaches. Tell him if he stays, his entire offensive staff will be hired for him. At this point, the Miami medical trainer might be a better OC than Canada. I'd be poking at the good offenses of today and finding someone, anyone that has been with said offensive coach for AT LEAST two seasons. Make them the OC.

I see all sorts of teams hiring as bad as the Steelers and I have little faith in Tomlin or Rooney not going the lazy route. Why do teams fall over backwards to hire subpar OCs? A run-first OC today is a dinosaur and yet at least 5 teams hired such an OC in the past 3 years.

It would be refreshing if the Steelers had an OC and HC that could AT LEAST run the ball well, even if it would be a joke come playoff time (see Titans, Ravens of the past 7 years).

Get a passing game savant, an under-study, that is under a savant like McDaniels, Shanahan, Dorsey, others. It might fail, but AT LEAST it's trying to play modern, exciting, score-in-the-double-digits football.

How dare us Steelers fans want to actually win a meaningful football game. We won one of those like 12 or 14 years ago, once a decade is more than we can handle. I guess you want us to roll-over and pretend everything is rainbows and unicorns for our own health?

Get the fruit loops out of here with that non-sense.

Would you bet more than 5 cents on the Steelers winning if they made the playoffs? Maybe if the odds were 100-1, which they will likely be the next time we make the playoffs...in say 2038

    You are correct

But that theory doesn’t fit the trolls

And a game like this sure brings them out

I think the Trolls are the ones defending Tomlin. It's funny that the admittedly shrinking Tomlin-backers can't see that. Ostriches around the world would be proud of how well you avoid seeing the truth.

I agree. The trolls are the ones using emoticons and calling others trolls.

Now they've taken to saying they are not really Tomlin defenders and had never been, but they are virtuous anti-troll vigilantes. lol :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:. re-writing history takes a serious skill.

    cue emoticon response...

Anyone NOT calling for him to be fired is defending him. I thought that was obvious.

You seemed to aim that at me when you used the word “you”

I was ready to get rid of him after the Jacksonville loss

I just don’t have the need to repeat it every chance I get
