Sounds to me like he has no concerns taking multiple sacks. Not very smart. Then there is the strip-fumble factor to consider.

He should have kept his mouth shut. Like the saying goes "Better to keep silent and be thought a fool than opening your mouth and removing all doubt."

Meh, the writer is either trying to stir up **** or all up in her Steelers feels. Stroud was completely respectful of TJ and said good things about Highsmith, too.

Stroud has been impressive so far but he is only 3 games into his career. Steelers D will be a good test for him, I don’t expect him to have as good a game as his first three. He’s about to get up close and personal with TJ.

And once again the AFC gets a good QB. Wouldn't mind them all going to the NFC;)

AFC Playoffs are going to be wicked good. NFC will be the only two good teams in a re-match. Although I'm on board the Lion wagon.

Most of these NFL players have played football since they were 8 years old, they are world class athletes,
They are grown men, there not afraid of another grown man. There competitors they compete at high levels.
Some days are better than others,

He probably also believes in his staff and the scheme .. I am sure he respects the play of Watt and they will scheme to limit his impact on the game .. KP better be up for the challenge as I think they will need to score 30 plus to win..

I don't know: The kid's turning into an NFL player mighty fast. 906 yard in only 4 games, 4 TDs, no ints, 65% completion - pretty impressive. His rookie #'s are a lot better than Kenny's 2nd year #'s head to head. That's saying something, and it's not like Stroud is QB-ing a loaded team by comparison.

I'm sure our D is not taking the guy lightly, because they better not. He's proven a lot more out of the gate than I expected. He's no joke.

Get used to Ogunjobi being on the injury report for the year. As long as he is good to go for the game that's all I care about.

Benton is going to see more time as he should. This kid looks like he will be the heir apparent to Heyward.

I wish QBs were at as much of a disadvantage in facing TJ as boxers were facing Mike Tyson in the 90's but I'm not sure they are.

This happens every year! Pittsburgh is supposed to beat up on an opposing O-line and somehow they don't and everyone acts surprised!

I'm just setting my bar and sights really low for this week, because I've seen this play out way too many times!

Right? imagine if his first game was against the 49ers then followed up against the Browns or some such thing.

As a rookie 906 passing yards 4tds , and no ints is good for any rookie....no matter who they have played.

Weve seen less than stellar QBs look HOF against the good guys on Sunday. We’ve seen MASH unit lines stymie blitz Burgh all the same. I never buy into that garbage. If they show up to play our boys better damn well be showing up to. The rest is paper talk and on paper this should be a W but should’ve and could’ve is too familiar afterwards. That said, here’s to hoping that W arrives and it’s just another step in the right direction. Here we go Steelers here we go!

Mike Tyson was at his peak in the 80's. He wasn't the same after being KO'ed by Buster Douglas in 1990.

I just saw a stat that the Texans have lost their last 12 games out of their division. Sure hope the Steelers extend their unlucky streak to 13 today.

Nothing wrong with tipping the hat to a good player.

It worked last week for the Steelers. After the game they admitted that they were having Kenny run away from Maxx Crosby; this is why having someone like Alex Highsmith is worth his weight in gold.

I totally agree Stroud was respectful and the writer is stretching to start fire/get clicks. But Stroud has been so impressive he just set a rookie record for yards passed after 3 games. That ain't no chump change.

Stroud isn't afraid, that's true. Its not about Watt, its that he only needs to get 1 or 2 FG drives to win the game against the pre-school Steelers offense, Matt Canada and the buck-never-stops-here Mike "Clown Show of One" Tomlin.
