Congratulations to TJ Watt for being named the AFC player of the Month. TJ leads the NFL with 6 sacks and has 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries and a TD.

Yet nobody finds it funny that the media was talking about Parsons should be up for not only DPOY, but MVP....yet Watt is spanking Him, and not a peep about the same for Watt. Hell most wouldn't talk about Him except for His brother always pushing His name.
Yet some will buy into everything the media says about football.

If TJ stays healthy for the whole season, he probably gets another 20 sack season .

He still does not get the respect he deserves from the idiots at ESPN and other sports media outlets. I was listening to ESPN Radio driving home tonight and they were talking about the early favorites for MVP. They mentioned Tua and said the quarterbacks have the advantage and then went on to say that this could be the year that a defensive player could win it. Somebody like Micah Parsons or Myles Garrett. No mention whatsoever of TJ Watt who is the best defensive player on the planet right now. Garrett couldn’t carry Watt’s jockstrap!

On Sunday night when they were talking about how much respect Crosby has for TJ, I wanted to do a full on Mr. Burns finger steeple. Yes let's have Josh McDaniels force another teams implosion and when Max wants out he can come to Pittsburgh. Yes Smithers Yes.

He’s just got to get his Taco Boy persona out there a bit more so that those in the mainstream know who he is.

To be fair, Garrett was a big part of the victory over the Bengals and he absolutely dominated the Titans last week. Watt is better, but it's not like Garrett can't play.

Garrett is a unreal player, which why Steelers fans need to get off bashing Dan Moore Jr. because he tends to shut him down.

I believe You are missing the point. TJ is never the one talked about on mainstream media. I know I listen all day. It's always Parsons, or Garrett. Like I said I've even heard them talk that maybe Parsons deserves the MVP. Yet none are doing what Watt is.

I don't think he shuts him down. I think the Steelers do some things to lessen the damage he does even when he routinely beats Moore.

Oh… that’s a lot more “mainstream” and focused on popularity over substance. I’m sorry you need to hear that all day!

Garrett is a good player, but I don't ever recall him dominating the Steelers and that's with them having average players at tackle, like we have seen TJ do to the Browns.
